Buy pasta at the supermarket
Nice pasta but basically you can get the same pasta in the grocery store for about a buck. It is made in italy and that usually bespeaks quality pasta but there is pasta just as good at your supermarket.

Texture suitable for sauces
I came upon the Academia Barilla pastas at a local store for a buck each and stocked up because they are so fresh and tasty when cooked. We eat a lot of pasta and have found this to be a little different than the blue box Barilla pasta, likely die to the bronze dies which make the texture a little rougher. It adds to the bite of al dente pasta. It's a bargain at a dollar, led so at this current selling price.
