Works well for used motor oil. Gets some oil on the plunger rod when pumping, not much but more than it needs for lube. The PE plastic hose is pretty cheap and thin but works. The discharge metal nozzle end with a catch pin to hold it in the container is a nice addition. If it fails I will replace it with proper rubber fuel line.Fills a 5 gallon container with 5-30 oil in short order. Easy to pump thick viscous fluids. Pay attention to the lever pin location when assembling. There are two holes, one for thin and one for thick fluids. Exactly what I needed.

It leaks at the draw shaft. If it had an o ring there it would not. I may investigate. I use it to pump a 55 gal drum with 10w-40 diesel oil. It fills gallon pales quickly.

I like the metal construction from top to bottom. I don't like the low volume per pump. The hose that is clamped to dispenser pron to leak. I like the nossle on end of hose, nice well made. After two months of once a week use the plunger feels like it is moving in metal. That causes a metal to metal feel and sound. Very annoying. I lubed it, but gas removes it back off When you assemble the handle to the pump it has two positions. One for lighter fluids and higher volume. I think this unit might do great with a oil type material.

got one for our gas barrel, worked so good that we bought another one for diesel, only reason a 4 star is cause it takes a little bit to fill up a 5 gal container.

Pick up tube was not included even though box says “Telescoping pick-up tube for 16-55 gallon drums with standard 2” bung opening”I submitted a return and ordered another one. We’ll see if I get one next time.
