Don't leave them outside the freezer
The finger sleeves worked great when I first got it, so much so that I ordered 4 more so that I could always have a couple ready to go while the ones I'd just used were re-freezing. After my hand injury went away, I removed them from my freezer and stored them on a cabinet shelf. After a bit over a month, when I went back and checked on them, all 5 of them are now "deflated". Since they've lost their volume, when I freeze them, they don't really work at all since it has barely any liquid left inside it to keep cold, nor does it contour onto the finger. It also makes me wonder, if I'd kept it in the freezer the whole time, would it have been fine, or would the chemicals inside it slowly leech out into the foods in my freezer?

"UNIVERSAL FINGER SIZE" is very misleading!
" Universal Finger Size" this is NOT. The inner pressure sleeve, to protect the skin from cold or heat, is extremely small and short. Would not cover over a third of my index finger. The outer gel pak seems like a good idea except the opening in the center is too small for a medium size woman's finger to fit into! The idea of this is very good, but it is not executed for adults. The universal sizing just does not fit!The manufacturer needs to take note and correct this as I think its a very good idea to be able to treat the entire injured digit at once. This seller, ITHICA SPORTS was wonderful to work with and upon receiving my request for a refund, acted upon it instantly! I highly recommend them and look forward to doing business with them again in the future!* One Note* When treating an injured joint, hands or feet with Ice, it is imperative to always use a liner/ cloth barrier between the cold and the skin! On boney joints there is not much flesh and frostbite can occur in a matter of a few mins. Leave on no longer than 10 mins at a time. ( I learned this the hard way on very a very swolleen inflamed knuckle! Not with this product which I couldn't use, but just saying...)

Helped my pain so much.
This little thing was a bit expensive but it did help me. It's super soft and comfortable to use. I had an injured finger and this fit perfect and helped my pain so much. At first I felt kind of bad ...like I could have just used a larger cheaper cold pack wrapped around my finger... But this is so much softer and more comfortable than anything else. It's worth the price and hopefully I'll have it for years.Added comment : I don't know what I would have done with out this . I used it for two week and used a brace on my finger. Between the two , it gap finally got better . It had bothered me for months before trying this. I think it helped the inflammation to finally go down. I keep it in the freezer just incase. It's as soft as butter.

Wonderful way to ice finger joint when fractured finger
Arrived yesterday. Bought for fractured finger still swollen after weeks of buddy tapping and 2 dr visits. Finger doing well. If you have never fractured middle finger on hand, you may not realize how hard it is to ice that area., anyway seemed to me it ought to have had less swelling (dr said doing excellently) Was excited when found this on Amazon, but wondered how you could roll lit onto finger. So simple to use - I cut a strip of thin cotton knit (unusable dress) & wrapped around finger to protect from freezer gel...All you have to do is position at tip of finger and give gentle push, gel roll starts rolling onto finger, keep gentle push and gel wrap goes on rest of way. I love it. Used 2 times yesterday (on about 5 min, then off to allow finger to warm up)..then back on. For mine, I put something under finger like small book for support then held it upward.1x1 Diametr x 4" long..I wondered if the thin cotton strip would come off finger (before wrapping it- but when rolling gel sleeve on, the cotton strip stayed on good and actually knit closed off tip of finger.. protected finger tip since that area was encased in gel wrap and the knit kept it from getting too cold.. The area I needed cold gel wrap is mid knuckle of middle finger . After 2 uses, the swelling went down more. When I took off the gel sleeve, I pulled on Jocko insulated blue sleeve and that sleeve comforts the.mid-knuckle on finger..also keeps it warm. I m shocked how much better it already looks and expect not instant healing but aided healing.. The jocko has some flexibility, but compression and insulated warmth. I also ordered the CTK 10 pcs stretchy finger protector sleeves that have not quite arrived yet. I am expecting those may knot warm up joint as much, but will be more beneficial when I can start doing dr or therapy instructed exercises. I am at end 8 weeks buddy wrap, but had began to need something different since the fingers had too much space after joint went down by about half and (buddy wrapping)finger had began to pull to one side & hurt at knotty knuckle even with padding the last joint and half with extra layers of gauze, the gauze tried to slip out..so I am looking at this as the next step and if reviews of the stretchy finger protectors are right think that will be next step. Thankfully my finger has some movement since ligaments on both sides of knuckle were not completely broken off but slivered off . I plan to keep using the gel wrap and maybe rotate these finger sleeve ordered at same time for protection. I may do an overkill on care, but hey finger fractures are no fun for an old lady.

... tried these before buying the wrist model and really liked it. This one works well on a finger
I had tried these before buying the wrist model and really liked it. This one works well on a finger. My hands are average in size and they fit well, not too tight. I like that they remain soft and pliable and yet hold the cold for maybe 20 minutes or so. I keep them in the freezer ready for when I need them

I've only used a few times. I keep it ...
I've only used a few times. I keep it in the freezer which makes it really cold.... too cold.... so, let it "thaw" for a couple of minutes before rolling on. Comes with a little cloth liner - that helps also - although it makes it a little harder to roll on. That said - this is far easier than trying to hold an ice pack on my finger!

It's the best solution I found for my broken finger
It's the best solution I found for my broken finger. The cold gel "rolls" onto the finger, which is nice. But the gel is much too cold for the finger/skin. It included a small tube-shaped fabric protection, but the tip of the finger is open, meaning that it freezes... Also, there is no outside protection, so I've been using umbrella covers and napkins to prevent my other fingers from freezing... these guys forgot that people have more than one finger...
