There are a few interesting materials I really like personally. For the price this is a nice investment. Good information.

The range of materials referenced and the applications described is fairly broad. The graphics are good and the text is suitable for the average reader. Each material has a short profile of interesting facts, but don't expect a deep or technical description. I would recommend the book for those with an interest in science and materials, but not for someone wanting technical or in depth details.
