One of the crafts I have yet to learn is jewelry making. So of course when prime day was here I had to purchase this Jewelry Basics Class in a box set. There is enough to get you started on creating 3 pieces and once you have an idea you can expand your skills. Each of the bead sets are lovely in colors and they compliment one another. I am quite excited to have this set and now I want more!This kit comes with a handy guide that's easy follow and explains what parts go where. The tool is well made with easy grip handles and the findings are all plated well with no chips. No chips or cracks could be seen in any of the beads and everything functions as it should. With time and reading I feel I can learn more about this trade and perhaps make a go of it.Overall. The quality seems to be great. No chips or cracks in the beads or the plating on the findings. Contains everything you need to create 3 pieces and the colors go well together.I have nothing negative to add at this time. I love this set!

I was looking for an inexpensive kit to get me started with jewelry making. This was perfect. It has a few extra hooks/beads etc. so you can make more than the kit promises. There is not quite enough wire for the necklaces as instructed, but I was able to make 3 with a little adjustment in one of the necklaces.If you are looking for an inexpensive kit that will help you figure out if jewelry making is for you, this is the way to go.

I was looking to start making jewelry & I wanted a decent kit to start me out so I could see if I enjoy doing it. The instruction manual is ok, the beads are nice enough, and bead mat included isn't very helpful, the little tool included works well, & there are enough findings for several little projects. After buying this I went to the crafts store & got some nicer beads & findings, but for a starter kit this was the nicest I could find & I had looked at several.

Everything I needed was in the box. The directions were simple to read and understand. This kit is perfect for anyone starting out and not sure where/how to begin in the jewerly making. The sets were simple to create and absolutely adorable. I get compliments everytime I wear them! I would totally recommend.

A nice mid-level jewelry making kit, perfect as a gift for an older teen or adult who is into crafting. Has all the supplies you need, including tools, to make several projects. The quality of the beads surpassed what I was expecting for the money.

This kit is OK, but really confusing, even though I have experience with jewelry making. The teardrop earrings don't have the wire part to connect them, the dark plastic beads look really cheap (I will find something else to replace them), the instructions are really bad. There is NO key to what the diagram means. I would NOT recommend this kit. There are many that are less expensive & far more attractive! The circled parts in the picture are not included!

This is shown and described as a nice beginner's set with glass beads, wires, findings and instructions. What I got was a really cheap-looking set of plastic beads. The only similarity is that it's from the same company.If the product has been changed, the photo and description should be updated to reflect that. I would NOT have ordered the item that I received, and will be returning it.

I paid $12.49 for this kit, and that's about the right price. The beads are very low quality - some are cracked, broken, inconsistent sizes. However - I bought this kit because I had never attempted making jewelry before, and didn't want to spend a lot of money to find out that it was something I didn't like to or want to do. For that kind of evaluation purpose, this is a great kit. It comes with one pair of pliers which can be used to cut the wire and crimp the crimp tubes, and plenty of different types of beads to play with stringing them. I did try my hand at this in the company of my sister-in-law who is an expert at jewelry making. She helped me understand the patterns (you just follow the pictures in the book), and gave me a few tips that weren't in the book. I probably won't wear any of the jewelry because it does kind of look cheap, but it was a great way to experiment with jewelry making and I'd recommend it to anyone for that purpose.
