Bowman Games Fill or Bust Great Card and Dice Game

I really enjoy this game. We are huge Farkle players and this is very similar but with cards and a few twists. My husband and stepdaughter enjoy playing this game and I am looking forward to showing it to more friends.My suggestion to purchasers is to add in one the house rules listed on the instructions for a more fun and exciting game: any dice combo that equals five counts as if you rolled a five... we decided to add this rule in after multiple rounds of nothing but “busts” because you are pretty much rolling for ones of fives (we have found it rare to get 3 of a kind) and you usually end up busting with out the house rule.With that being said, who said you can’t make up your own scoring?! (Full houses, small straight, four of a kind, wild numbers, etc) This game is easy to modify the scoring without jeopardizing the overall nature of the game :)All in all, it’s a great game and totally worth adding it to your collection :)

The cards that I received in this order where made so poorly that one could tell by looking at the side of the deck when a Black or Red card was next to be picked. Very poorly manufactured.Tried coloring the sides of the cards with a permanent marker to hide the card color but that soaked through to a degree and left distinguishable marks on the back of the card.Very disappointed. Recommend finding a differently manufactured or older version of the game where this is not a problem.

This is a really fun and easy game. Great for hanging out with friends virtually as one person can draw all the cards and everyone can have their own dice. No limit to how many people can play. There aren't too many game that can be played with multiple people in a virtual environment like this.

I gifted two of the games to friends and kept one for our family. I know one of the games came with 5 dice in it and not 6. So be sure to count the dice and have a spare around if you have one. We opened gifts with our friends and decided to play it. We were in round two when we figured out we are missing one of the dice. It is a fun game so over all yes it is but be sure you check all that is in the box. No I didn't return the product I will go out and buy some spare dice.

I bought this game for a family member who wanted something for family game nights. Ages in our group range from 28 - 65 years, so I can't say how well the game works with kids. We have played many, many rounds of Phase 10 together (That's been a family favorite) and this game offers some variety. We get lots of laughs when we make bad choices -- losing points when we get too greedy, for example. It is basically a dice game, but before each turn you turn over a card that offers a bonus or puts some special requirements on how you play your turn. I think the cards make the game more interesting and fun. The educational value comes from figuring out the scoring (pretty simple) and from deciding what to do next -- stop rolling or take a risk. The cards are nice quality and the dice seem well made. It should last a long time, and even if the cards get a bit worn it won't effect the play. My daughter (28) likes it so much she said she's going to get her own for game nights with her friends! We have played with 4-5 adults and the game worked well with both groups. You choose the winning score before each game so you can somewhat control how long the game will last.

This was a new game for our family this holiday season. We loved it! It is easy to understand; the rules are clearly stated. We played with the 10 year olds all the way up to the 70 year olds with everyone having fun!

Fill or Bust is a game with cards and dice. How can you do wrong? The point is to roll three of a kind, fives, or ones. If you're really luck you may get a one, two, three, four, five, six combo and take the lead with 1500 points plus the value on the card for filling your quota. That's the trick, ones are 100 points, fives are 50, three of a kind is 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, and 1000 for triple ones. And the different kinds of cards allow for bonuses or disaster. You can fill up about half way and stop (especially if you roll triple ones) and increase your score safely and slowly or you can go for bust and try to roll all the dice to increase the score. Good luck. If you do fill a card you can continue, however, if the next card flipped you have to fill once or twice or you get a "No Dice" card all the points you just earned pretty much just went out the window. Then again you could get luck who knows, it's the luck of the roll and it's a lot of fun.

A friend introduced me to this game a few years ago. We play it while camping and when we're just relaxing. It's small and easy to carry around. It's also exciting and aids in math skills. It's very easy to learn also. I finally decided to get my own game and also got one for my son's family since they love to play games.

my original game wore out...it was very old, so I was very happy to find a replacement...worth the money! Shipping took a bit longer than I thought but it is worth the wait. Thank you!

The game arrived when expected and I thought it was new as it was in a sealed box but it was missing 2 dice....I thought that was odd🤔. It just meant a trip to the dollar store to buy dice 🤷‍♀️
