These beautiful domed glass cufflinks are hand-made from Italian glass and millefiori from the island of Murano in Venice. These are sculpted and fused into beautiful cabochons in the UK by SOMA Design Studio (www.SomaDesignStudio.com) and mounted on a silver-plated t-bar swivel. Millefiori is Italian for 'a thousand flowers'; elegant glass flowers made in the centuries-old traditional way of layering coloured and transparent glass in multi-coloured flower designs. These cufflinks have each been hand-made from a dozen flowers fused together rather than a thousand, but the effect is just as beautiful. This design utilises a mixture of 12 glass flowers primarily in shades of Blue, fused into a single cabochon and set onto silver-plated setting. Cufflinks measure approx 20mm (3/4 inch) diameter. Cufflinks are supplied in a plain black presentation box, and come with a certificate of authenticity. Note that since these cufflinks are hand-made from a dozen separate glass millefiori, slight variations in size, shape, colour and design of the finished articles are to be expected, though you will receive a closely-matching pair for example as pictured.
