These definitely help me when I have a lot of canning in the kitchen. They are strong and durable. If they get sticky, I either wipe them off or spray them off. The only thing I regret is that they don't come in kitchen colors.

I put the mat in my laundry room next to the counter where I fold clothes. At first I thought it was firm but as I worked on it I found that it was very responsive as I moved and I really felt the support. It is very comfortable and a high quality product.
