How I miss green chile…
We recently moved from CO to TN, and man, what a culture shock. No green chile! You can buy green chiles in a can, but not the savory sauce that I know and love. This hot 505 is a life-saver! I was able to make smothered burritos with no effort, and the taste is phenomenal! Thanks 505 for being there for me.

Second Time's A Charm!
These are some kind of wonderful! I lived in New Mexico back in the 70s and adored fresh green chiles. Sadly, they're not to be had in Michigan, and the canned variety lack in taste and heat. The 505 Southwestern Chiles-Medium are just what my taste buds ordered! They have the right amount of heat (for me) and are not so hot that I'm sweating. Much. If I can't have my fresh roasted Hatch chiles, then these are the next best thing. They're great in scrambled eggs, on cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, in various recipes, and whatever your little heart desires. They're a little pricey at nearly $30 for three 16 oz. jars but they're worth it. ***I am adding that when I ordered these in July 2020, they arrived packed in bubble wrap, no outer covering and, not only were the lids to the jars loose but they had leaked. They were also delivered to my west-facing front porch on a hot day, with the sun shining on my order! The jars were hot and I don't know if that contributed to their demise. I was able to secure a refund and re-ordered, this time marking the chilies as a gift, and had them packed in a cardboard box. They arrived safe and sound. Be aware of your packaging!***

One Jar Broken
I order this product regularly. This time one of the bottles arrived broken. They are packaged in bubble wrap so it did not leak through the box but the broken bottle contained in its bubble wrap and is a mess. I'm trying to find how to get a replacement but I keep getting a message "item is not returnable".It's frustrating. How do I get a replacement or refund?

Delicious
I previously lived in Arlzona and was available in all the stores, moved to Ohio and can’t find it. Love it so I’m paying ridiculously high price through Amazon but it’s delish!

Great on pizza.
If you can’t get fresh roasted green chile, get frozen. If you can’t get frozen green chile, get 505 green chile. 505 is the area code for Albuquerque, NM, the world’s biggest consumer of Hatch Green Chile. The 505 brand salsas and sauces can be found in Walmarts across the nation but their jarred green chile can be elusive. Amazon seems to keep it in stock though. The jars came perfectly bubble wrapped and boxed. Green chile is perfect on eggs, hamburgers, frito pie, tortilla soup and nachos. A household fav is to throw it on a pepperoni pizza five minutes before it is cooked. One benefit this has over frozen green chile is that it doesn’t have to be reheated prior to consumption. Frozen green chile can culture harmful bacteria killed by heat. 505 jarred Green Chile can be consumed straight from the jar.

Best chilies for everything
These chilies add great flavor to Pozole or casserole or soup. Love them in scrambled eggs.

Far superior to canned green chile
Hatch Chile has a flavor like nothing else, and this brings it. It has a perfect medium heat and packs a big flavor punch. We use it in dip, chili, tuna/chicken salad, sloppy joes, on eggs, add to cornbread, soup, pizza and it makes wonderful green chile cheeseburgers. Family member from New Mexico craves this like no other food. Hint-Add at the end of cooking time to preserve more of the unique flavor and aroma.

The 16 oz jars are the smallest jars of sauce sells. They should be sending 32 oz jars 0f 505 sauce
Total cost with shipping $147.00 for 3 little jars of 505 sauce. I tad bit on the expensive side. Won't do that again.
