ScotchDouble Sided Tape, 1/2 In X 900 In, Permanent, 1/Pack (665)

I’m an avid believer in certain products.3-M being one of those .Anytime I can find or a use a 3M product, I will and usually have great luck.This double sided tape is a complete waste of money and an embarrassment the company!!You open a dinky little roll of it, then once get tape moving from roll, both sides are sticky.Needs a small film on one side to use properly.So because your fingers are all over the product, it doesn’t or barely stick!!Brutal

My computer desk is a few feet away from my router, and so I bought a flat LAN cable to run along the top of the baseboard, so it wouldn't stand out. Unfortunately, this tape was not nearly sticky enough to keep the cable in place. Even if I used long lengths, it wouldn't adhere completely, so the cable kept on falling off. This is not heavy cable either, i'm talking about the super thin/unobtrusive ones. I'm sure it would work perfectly for paper or posters, but not much else.

I ordered this to use with shrinking film used to seal off windows for the winter and had no complications using it.No matter if the casings were painted or had Verathane applied to them. It made good contact with the casings and plastic film. In a few cases we left the film in place well into the second winter and it’s still holding.What I appreciate here is that even holding as well as it does I was still able to remove and reposition it when needed. Peeling it off the role was straight forward and the shielded was removed easily enough. Cutting it was no different than any other tape.Overall since it’s held so well for close to two years I have to say it’s a well-made adhesive.The cost here per foot makes it economical especially since its held for so long.

Tape that can be used to secure just about anything flat to something else that's flat. Due to it being so thin you'll hardly notice it under paper unless you intentionally crease your paper over it. Lightly pad the objects together and they will be secure.Let me save you some money in case you're looking for a cheaper brand of tape. DONT. Spend the extra dollar on the 3M tape. The hold of other brands is inferior.A word of warning though: This tape does not have a backer. This makes it harder to work with. The tape is forgiving but backer would have made this a real treat to work with .

I found this tape is very hard to use, first, the tape is sticky on both side, they keep stick on my fingers, that's very difficult to put it on the extract place I wanted. Before I bought one from Dallar store, that one is much more efficient, because you can tape it first and then peel the transparent on top of the tape. I thought this one should be the same. I was disappointed.
