I’m a Brickell enjoyer & consumer. Their hair products are excellent, and body washes and soaps high quality and refreshing.I’m not a lotion guy, however—until we moved from Western to Eastern Washington, where our average humidity was decimated, leading to dry hands and feet—so I bought Brickell lotion to give it a try.My wife is somewhat of a lotion connoisseur, so I’ve been able to compare it with a variety of other products. I’m also never a fan of scented products. But the Brickell lotion is very slight — some lemon and perhaps mint or tea tree oil. The one thing I had to get used to is the oiliness. It doesn’t take too long to “dry” or “absorb” but I had to get used to letting it work its way into my skin.After a couple of weeks of frequent use, it’s become a part of my nightly routine, and my skin is sufficiently moist (without being clammy). This product is high quality, and the price, like all Brickell product, is worth it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Overall I like this moisturizer. I've tried many different options of moisturizers and I usually flip-flop between the expensive stuff ($35-$50) and then value-play ($10-$15 and 2x the size of the more pricey stuff)...The more expensive ones are nice, the scent is usually more refined & nuanced, doesn't feel greasy, etc. but after using it for a week or two I start to doubt if it's worth the price...and question the effectiveness/does it live up to the hype, etc.On the other end of the spectrum, when I use the cheaper stuff and/or bulk-size ones...the scent is more basic, which I guess isn't the end of the world since the scent is usually short-lived...it feels more synthetic/processed, I usually use twice as much/globing it on, etc. Most times I end up not even using all of the product and just throw out the last 10%-15% because I'm just "over it"I think the Brickell moisturizer is a good Goldilocks balance of price, performance, quantity, etc. The scent is mild/natural, it feels like it adds moisture and absorbs nicely, doesn't leave a wet/film/slime feeling. I'd like to see maybe 10oz or 12oz package size for the price rather than the current 8oz size...as such, it's almost edging out of the "just-right" value/performance in my opinion...next time I'll probably wait for a sale or buy it as a combo-set rather than standalone
