The Book of the Pearl: Its History, Art, Science and Industry

Looking forward to reading this - quite a challenge but the other Pearl guides refer to this as THE BOOK!

Very disappointed. Such a lot a high powered technical waffle. The book it's self is a paper back with very poor print quality on very thin paper. The few photos are dreadful quality.

great book. Wonderful history of pearls, where they are found all over the world, their costs, the expense it takes to obtain them. The great about pearls these days, is that pearls require a pristine to grow in, and in order to have a pearl farm.

Still holds up...but if you can find the original never let it go !!!
