There should not be a scent to the soap as it is fragrance free.

It's a long list and not really broken out as to active vs inactive. Here's the first 4 listed: Tiethanolamine, TEA Stearate, Sodium Tallowate, Glycerin. There are 16 other ingredients in descending order. Note, this applies to the "acne-prone" formula.It claims to be Hypo-allergenic, rinses easily and won't clog pores. My experience over 20 years is that these claims are true. Hope this helps.
