Brilliant debunking of diet myths
This may be the best, wisest, funniest and most downright honest book about our relationship with food I’ve ever read. @langernutrition has written a no-holds-barred (I’m sure sensitive readers will be delightfully offended by the f-bombs) exposé of the harm that diets do not just to our bodies but also, perhaps more importantly, to our minds. An absolute breath of fresh air from a QUALIFIED dietician and hey Abby, I’m off to buy the loaf of bread I’ve been denying myself for years. Thank you! Highly recommended for… Well, frankly, everyone who has ever been on a diet or is thinking of doing so.

Could this change your life? Maybe ....
I found Abby online doing yet another "research session" into an MLM promising me a detox, new way of life, increased energy, bio-hacking my metabolism...aka scam. And don't get me wrong, I was happily giving over my money...over and over and over to these people, so this review is not an invitation to dispute pills, shakes, patches, coffees, this post is to share that for me, in my opinion, Abby's Blog and her book ACTUALLY saved me.Abby states it as it is, you can love her or hate her, but she wont sugar coat it for you. And that's what I needed to see/hear. The "give your head a shake" moment, step back, do the work, look inside, reflect, revisit, revamp. This book is eye-opening in some ways, but really, deep down her common sense approach is something we all know, on some level in your journey. We know better. We are just looking for this magic solution to make us "better" however "better" looks to you. Only you can do that, and it starts by unpacking your own stuff, and this book allows you to do that. It makes it make sense. I know what I learnt from Abby about my relationship with food and myself is life changing, for the better.I wont be giving away anymore money to fads and I owe that all to Abby! I tell you, its worth the read, Thank You Abby!

This is a Tasty Book, devour it
No nonsense advice from a proper Registered Dietician. Practical and funny, this book has changed my energy levels and waist size for the better, now that I have ditched diet culture and mindset. Empowering and seriously good for your physical and mental health. A must read.

A breath of fresh air!
I was thin as a young girl/young woman and so when age and weight began to creep up at the same time - I had no idea where to begin. I knew from a few futile attempts at faddish diets that my answer did not lie there. I also know that my love of cooking and of sharing great food with friends was not going to go away without some resentment and deep sense of loss. So it was with great enthusiasm that I searched for - and encountered - with Abby's book and my own extra research - the idea that it was not the food that was plaguing me. It was more my relationship with food and weight and the cult of thin-ness that needed re-examining. (I also needed to conscientiously just move more, but that's a whole additional topic!). Abby's book is a great read and it is filled with the kind of useful and practical and easy to adopt suggestions and information I needed. I Highly Recommend you spend a little time with this book. A gentle mix of the art and the science of food and life balance. I loved it.

Well, written, easy to understand and educational
Overall a very good book but I took a point off because of the constant swearing. Unprofessional and unnecessary and diminishes the professionalnesss of the book.
