We purchased these temporary blinds for our new home. They work great! We stuck them to the glass on the window, not the trim because the adhesive can pull off paint. They were easy to cut to size and install. They block lots of light and do the job well. I use binder clips each day if I want to pull the blinds up. I would recommend these to others who need temporary blinds.

Honestly, bought them used, and they are great. They look real, very thick paper. The adhesive is not great, but u just tacked them on and they are perfect

I ordered these as I was looking for something cheap and easy to black out the windows to my home office as I do some photography and multimedia and prefer my settings to be as dark as possible. I put these up in the windows and even with the sun blazing directly behind them, only light passing along the edge where my cuts were slightly off is the only light coming into the office from outside.I was a little disappointed in the adhesive that is on these. It may just be how my house is and how the weather has been here lately but compared to a couple of these that I had picked up at my local hardware store, the adhesive doesn't hold as well as the store bought ones and will start separating from the window frames several times during the week. This can be easily fixed if you don't mind two tiny pin holes in the window frame by placing thumbtacks on each end of these once placed up in the frame, seems to have done the trick helping keep these up without falling out of the window.These are very light and surprisingly more durable than I expected considering these are essentially made from construction paper. But since these are paper, the longer these are hanging up and extended down covering the window, they will sag more and more until it's reached its natural elastic limits so you may find yourself adjusting the bottom clips every so often to compensate for the difference.Aside from the adhesive, I'd still recommend these to anyone looking to add to their windows especially since the included clips do allow for these to be folded back up and clipped to be out of the way of the window until you need them again.

Sadly this didn't work. Installed them on 2 windows and both fell during the night. The adhesive tape didn't hold the shades and the clips were just a bad. I rated the "Easy to install" 3 stars because it was easy to install, just peel and stick but unfortunately, they didn't stay on.

The Quality isn’t really great and adhesive material is also not strong. All of my blinds fell down after few hours of installation. I had to add a more stronger glue to stick it to the dry wall. The clips that are included for folding doesn’t work well they pop out after few minutes and you have to fold the blinds again. The paper is very thin and make a lot of noise when fan is on or heat pump is blowing air inside. Still 10/10 for stopping the sunlight.

i would not recommend for a child's room as they are made out of paper. they do tear easily if not handled with care. They keep the heat out perfectly. Blackout a room in seconds.

We buy a pack of these every year when we go to Cape Cod. The blinds at the place we stay just aren’t great when the kids and we are used to black out shades at home. Bring good scissors to cut to size. Or you can tear it slowly which isn’t fun. The adhesive to good but this isn’t the sort of thing that is meant to taken on and off, raised and lowered. Set it and forget it as the old ad used to say. Also I recommend sticking it to a non-painted surface like a window frame. I’ve seen it take some paint off before. Overall I’m a happy repeat customer.

I have used several times these types of shades temporarily until I received our roller shades. Unfortunately, these get detached easily and fall. We finally used the pins to keep them from falling. These ones don't come with clips but with a flat thin sliding object that are useless when you lift the curtain up as it doesn't have the strength to hold the weight of the paper. So unless you keep your shades down, don't buy these shades.
