Fits inside an Associated Pro4 SC10
This combo was a great upgrade from the Reedy system that this truck came with. I'm running 3s 120c batteries and WOW! Unless I'm letting someone with less RC experience take her for a spin, then I run a 2s. But even then...she quick! As you can see, I have a fan on there that does a great job keeping this motor cool when pushing this truck thru grass. I'm not a fan of running thru puddles but that said grass is wet this time of year and I'm not having any troubles with moisture (yet). I also take the hose to it after a day of racing around the yard. Unfortunately there are not way to screw the ESC into place so the provided double sided tape has worked out great. Stayed put even after landing on it's top side a few times at the local bmx track. 10/10 would buy again...in fact, I think I'll get one for my Traxxas Slash as soon as I'm done here. I'm not happy with the budget combo I got from here (Amazon, not talking about this seller).

Rustler 2wd Upgrade
Bought this to upgrade an old rustler. It was getting time to start replacing batteries and my main is a 4s Outcast v2 so I wanted to battery share. I figured it'd be more beneficial/cost effective if I run them off the same ESCs so they can battery share (this combo is UP TO 3s) and since I have so much into the spektrum ecosystem, I'll merge where I can. You'll need to reverse the motor for 2wd and you'll want to adjust the punch. You can keep all the traxxas parts. Drilling 2 holes on the ESC mount and using a longer screw for the receiver box to mount the button is all I did to mount the ESC to a stock rustler (if your batteries are thick, you can use collars and longer screws to lift the ESC mount for clearance; I also replaced the battery tie down nuts for velcro so i can use 3s hardcase G2s). For the new motor, transmission is stock so I did upgrade the spur/pinion to a metal 86/21 for the extra power the motor produces. The stock is fine if you just want to upgrade cheaply but I'd imagine it would not last long on 3s 100c because stock is plastic, so keep that in mind for spares. This ESC has an IC3 connector so if you have IC5/EC5 batteries you'll need an adapter (if you want to benefit from their smart batteries you need the smart extension). All-in-all, this was a great upgrade and the 3300kv motor is good power for the rustler platform. Without much tweaking, it was hitting between 42-47 mph with more to go. If you're stock, you definitely need to upgrade the rear wheels. Update 25 Feb 2024: Took it out for an extended run and decided to adjust the punch to 6 (from the factory 5) WOW did that make a huge difference. This thing is a rocket with punch 6 using a 3s 5000mAh 100c battery (G2). I had to adjust the wheelie bar to the lowest setting to keep it from flipping or start walking. Upgrading the shocks to something with a quicker return might help keep the front end down but I was able to feather the speed to ramp it up. What an amazing upgrade and took less than 20min to upgrade. Definitely recommend Final Update: With all that torque, had to replace driveshafts (factory) as it twisted them in two. Took that time to upgrade the turnbuckles, wheelie bar (to the better metal wheels), and added a can fan. This thing is a rocket but to add any more speed it'll need to be weighted for speed runs.

Good upgrade for Arrma Granite Voltage 2wd, Some Modification require for the motor!
I purchased this combo for my son's Arrma Granite Voltage 2wd Basher. It's a great product, and I love the Spectrum Smart batteries and many of their products I've also purchased. We use a Spectrum 5000mah 2s lipo battery for this setup, and it keeps temps down enough, and I didn't have to change out any gearing. Due to the placement of the wiring coming off the motor, I did have to do some modification to the plastic frame of the Voltage with a Dremmel to get the motor to fit properly. The Voltage is a hard RC basher to upgrade, as the frame is so small, and congested, I'd recommend not going down this rabbit hole, and instead upgrade it to a more power brushed motor. I've easily spent more money trying to upgrade this basher than I should have, and could have easily purchased a better Basher all together. But if, like me, you love to tinker and upgrade, this is a good place to start for brushless. There are many items you'll have to upgrade on this truck also, and the tires absolutely have to be one of them, as the stock tires cannot grip anything, especially with a brushless motor. The rear differential is also a necessary item, as the plastic factory cups break off quickly. Anything you can upgrade to metal that has to do with the gearing, steering or wheels, you'll want to do. As these parts don't last long. In some items though it's best to keep plastic, as they are able to bend and come back into place without breaking.

Great upgrade for Traxxis Slash 2WD Brushed - Not great on 3S
Great torque and speed on 2S battery! You can run the largest drive-sprocket you can install, and it'll still have more torque than you need. BUT.......running 3S batteries will overheat it (if you approach top speed regularly) and it will go into a limp-mode. I was running my Slash 2WD on blacktop with road tires, and once it reached full speed (Like 70mph!!) the ESC would show a red-light and go to about 15% power mode. You can turn it Off and then back ON and it resets, but it'll come right back if you top it out again.

Great for replacing/upgrading 3S systems
Installed easy, just dropped right in, but it's pretty easy to change the electronics on a Jato 4x4. It's drizzling rain so I can't test it, cleaning muddy RC's are no fun to me, lol. Spektrum's quality is good and HH customer service has always good to me, so if there's a problem they'll take care of it.

The items came in quality packaging and were displayed nicely in the box. Easy to install. Has made a huge difference to the RC car I installed this in replacing a brushed motor. Have used this on NiMh, and 2S and 3S LiPo batteries. All worked well with higher power as expected from larger capacity LiPo. Highly recommend this product as an upgrade if that suits your needs.
