Keep your cat safe with this amazingly reflective Vedante pet collar. This highly reflective collar is more reflective than almost any other pet collar and will alert motorists of your cat. Collar highly reflects light so there is no need for batteries that run out or fail. One size fits all - width 3/8", length 12.5".

Makes my BLACK Cat VISIBLE in the dark! :)
This is exactly what I was looking for for my 2 year old cat, Mowgli. He is black and it gets really hard to spot him in the dark without this collar. I got the silver one for him and it fits pretty well. The collar comes with a tag that glows in the dark which is very very helpful. I can see him in my room at night when all the lights are turned off.1) I wrote my phone number on the tag with a sharpie just in case he wanders away.2) I also took the bell off as I didn't wanna bother my cat with the sound so close to his ears. It was the first collar I have used on him (on a daily basis) and he has well adjusted to it.3) I also attached the "Loc8tor Pet" tag on it by sliding it through the collar belt and it worked perfectly. This was I know I can find Mowgli even if I don't see him around.I would suggest one improvement for this collar and that is to include a little belt as after buckling it up, there is a long remaining part of the collar that sticks out and I wish there was a little attachment on the collar into which I could have slid it to keep it close to the rest of collar. Without it, the end part of the collar sticks out and sometimes seems to bother my cat. I mounted a tiny rubber hair band on the collar that holds back the long end of the belt sticking out of the collar.

Great collars for cats!
We have an electronic dog door so the cats have to have a "key" attached to their collars. Normal break away collars give too easily; and we lose our $40 "key" along with the collar. The elastic on these has enough give our cats can get out of the collar if necessary (I messed around with an old one and the elastic will break, if put enough pressure on it). With them going in and out, they had to have collars that could break if necessary, but were sturdy. The collars last a couple years (I haven't kept track of exactly how long) before the plastic starts to crack and the elastic stretches (again, we have a dog door key on the collar, adding stress to the elastic). We replace the collar before it fails, so it could possibly last longer. The collars are a bit stiff, but our cats don't seem to mind. They are a bit big (our cats are on the small side - 9 and 10 lbs tops), so we trim the collar. We remove the tag and bell (since we have the door key on the collar), but we have come home at night and saw the collar reflect from our headlights when our cat was sitting on the side of the road by our house. We have purchased several over the years (buy new ones when we replace the old ones) and will continue to purchase them. We buy the gold and silver ones, so we don't know how the red or rust reflect.

AWESOME COLLAR!! Not for fussy cats
My boy is a 7mo old, chill indoor/outdoor short hair cat who doesn't mind collars and he never tries to break out of them. That being said, this "break free" collar is designed to stretch slightly from the back and pull off over the head if caught on something. I wouldn't recommend this to any fussy cat because it does not come off without a struggle or human help. I can pull it off over his head with a smooth two handed tug over the ears. I easily adjusted the size to fit him perfectly by expanding the holes a bit and locking it in at notch 3 which gives about 21/2 fingers width space off his throat, then I cut off the excess length. I also relocated the bell and tag to the front of the neck. My cat enjoys wearing it. I ordered the silver version of this collar. It is quite reflective to light and shines like neon, the tag glows at night, super cool! I wish they had it in blue! The material feels sturdy and has a kind of plastic coating to it, semi manipulable. This was a good choice for a reflective long lasting sturdy cat collar.

the very best cat collar
The reflectivity is INTENSE! You can see my cat from a long way away thanks to this collar. Also, it doesn't come off accidentally. It would pull off and snap if she were trapped, but she's not losing it around the neighborhood like she did with other collars. In the interest of full disclosure, I have bought two of these, because the first one eventually did wear down to the point where it needed replacing. However, I feel it was money very well spent and I immediately searched my email to figure out what collar it was that she had lost (this one from Vedante) and repurchased the exact same kind. I just looked back at my Amazon order history and see that the first collar lasted 4 years, which I think is quite reasonable for something that keeps my cat safe and very visible to oncoming cars. If this one eventually wears out, I will immediately buy another again!

Best Break Away Collar Ever
Ansel uses a Cat Mate Elite Super Selective Cat Flap to come and go as he pleases. The ID tags are $15.00 a piece to replace, if he loses his cat collar, which he did three times before I found this break away collar. This is a well made, sturdy, durable, and reflective collar. It's super long to fit around a medium size dog, if necessary. I cut the extra length off and shaved the edges of the end because the material is stiff, but not too stiff to wrap around his neck comfortably. It hasn't created any bald rings around his neck either. Ansel is a big tom cat who scratches his collar with his hind legs, gets into numerous cat fights (despite being neutered), rubs against every tree, shrub, fence post, and structure he comes across, and rolls around in dirt, gravel and sidewalk. After 6 months, it still looks brand new, and the elastic band is still tight. I wouldn't buy any other collar. This is the best.

Good but..
My little guy hated this thing, which was his own issue of course. He's a stubborn one. My real reason behind the 3 star review is due to the fact that the glow in the dark tag is very firm and thin..almost making it sharp around the edges. My cat ended up being able to catch this in his mouth and it gave him a minor cut along the edge(side) of his mouth. Not bad but enough to bleed. I'd recommend this to a cat that has worn colars before. Not a suggestion for a first timer.

This collar is plastic and the holes are to small for the buckle clasp to fit. I also thought this collar was suppose to glo in the dark which it does not do. I bought the collar so if my cat got out I got see her collar at night, not happening.
