As I have been buying the "red" version of prosta-strong as it is much more effective. I have seen Irwin Naturals stop making it. The ingredient in the "red" seems to be L-Citrulline. This was added to several of their products. Little by little I seen it removed from CVS, then Amazon then the Vitamin Shoppe. I think because just about all companies that make "dietary supplements" can make up as much as you should take as a "recommended daily dose". Irwin Naturals advertised to take 4/day. You only need 1/day. L-Citrulline extracted from watermelon is a nitric oxide booster. Great for blood flow. However too much can lower your blood pressure...like taking 4/day instead of 1/day. If you take blood pressure medication you should not take anything with L-Citrulline as it will drop your blood pressure too low. As this may have been voluntary as I have been unable to find anything about why a successful product was taken off the market by the company making it. Still a company should not send something different as someone ordered. Being I can't seem to get it as many any companies (including Irwin Naturals) still claim to sell it online, my guess is if you do you will get a "green" version built around saw palmetto & bioperine. It works, just takes 3-4 days to kick in opposed to just 1 day for the red.

Like the other twin pack I've bought. It works for me, some others I know say it didn't. I take my everyday and notice a difference if I miss or run out. It keeps me going especially after work I don't feel the need to take a nap.

I read in a magazine that you need the nitric oxide for this to work, so that’s why I chose this product. My doctor also believes that saw palmetto is beneficial. I’m 71 and, like all you guys, the old prostate starts swelling up over time. I’ve been using this for about a year and it seems like it might be helping. If nothing else, it’s not getting worse. Keep in mind that these herbal products take a while to show any benefit, so don’t expect immediate results.Also, for what it’s worth, when we lie down, the kidneys produce more fluids, so that could contribute to the urge to pee at night.

My husband takes half the recommended amount, and they decrease his symptoms. I've forgotten what they are, as he hasn't mentioned them in some time. We'll worth a try.
