Packet of 500 Different Collectable Worldwide Stamps

Received around 480 stamps, not 500! The 480 includes around 22 damaged , around 80 duplicates.Very common stamps. So it’s too expensive compared to stamps quality and variations.Top countries are:83 from Germany (6 duplicates, 3 damaged), 49 from UK (include 18 duplicates, 3 damaged, many of pennies stamps) , 40 Polska (7 duplicates, 5 damaged), 39 Magyar (13 duplicates, 1 damaged, one the stamps duplicated 9 times), 27 Österreich, 23 Jugoslavija , 21 India (18 duplicates, 14 of the same ver common stamp), ... (9 stamps from US, with one duplicates, very common )I excepted to be at least 500 stamps! But getting less than 500 and very to common stamps with duplicates and some damaged make it for one star.

Although 187 were duplicates. But that's still 558 different stamps, more than advertised. Most of the stamps were in good condition. There were a few mint stamps. The vast majority were from Europe, with Germany being very dominant, at least 50 stamps were from there. But still a good value, giving hours of pleasure separating and placing the stamps in an album.

Great variety of stamps. All in good condition and they arrived fast.

I liked that some of the stamps were ones I hadn’t seen before. They were nice to add to my collections. They lived up their name as being ‘collectables’. Some of them were very fragile looking. I didn’t want to touch them much for fear of having them disintegrate while holding them. Some also appeared as if they were from the 1940’s or earlier. The colors were eye catching and different from US stamps . I did have some dislikes, though: Some of the more interesting ones had post marks right on the center of the stamp, blocking out the face of the person portrayed on that stamp. Another thing that got under my skin was the fact some of the stamps were the same ones, meaning between 3-6 of the stamps were the same amount,, and the same picture.It was almost as if the seller didn’t have enough stamps to make 500 in a pack so they just added some of the same ones to make sure there were 500. Overall, I would say these stamps are good for people starting out a stamp collection, and for someone like myself who likes to collect stamps, it was nice to see a few different ones I don’t have in my collections.
