Greenwillow Books Kitty and the Moonlight Rescue

The first in the Kitty series. There’s a few things I don’t love in this one and the subsequent ones - emphasis on not crying when sad/upset, confusing messages about telling or not telling parents things (like middle of the night adventures), and a bit of language that I don’t care for. BUT - I still get them for my kid because she loves them and they are engaging and fun reads, with lovely illustrations.

My 6 year old loves this book, she requests multiple chapters be read each night! I’ve already ordered the other books in the series as well!

I have been reading about a chapter a day to my reception class and they love it. Very inspiring and the story is easy to follow with some great illustrations. They were so keen, I bought the entire series of books.

My 7yr old daughter loved this book. It has beautiful illustrations and an engaging story. Perfect for beginner independent-readers.
