It is a beautifully designed and made pot. I use it for my drinking water and love it. It has a break in period where the water has a earthy taste but its very slight. It goes away and the water always stays cool and refreshing.Great product. Thank you

This is a great all-in-one water jug for your night stand. It is a saucer to hold the jug, the jug itself, and a cup that also can be used a lid. There is a very slight seepage of water through the clay walls of the jug, but it is quite minor and might stop after a while (this is common with un-glazed clay pots in general). However, the seepage keeps the water cool in the summer so it's a good thing. The water tastes mildly of clay at first but that passes in a few days. It looks beautiful and holds enough water for several nights (I think it's about 1.7 liters). It is a bit pricey compared to what they cost in Turkey, but then gain, it's shipped direct from Istanbul and where else are you going to get one of these if you are in the US (or any other place that isn't Turkey)? I love it.

I purchased this set to use at church as communion dressing for our Good Friday service. It is a beautiful set, just the right size for us. Both the pitcher and the cup show moisture marks on the outside, which is just what it said it would do. But that only adds to the rustic look of the set. This set may not be large enough to be seen from the back of a very big sanctuary, but worked well in a typical church. Highly recommended.

Pitcher water has no flavor, it's a big disappointment. But keeping water stored in the cup gives a nice flavor. I would appreciate it if the seller can explain this! By the way, the water stays cold in both.

I think only a select few are looking for these ceramics for water filtration so this one’s for you! I put some tap water and it took about 2 days for it to seep out. I live in Phoenix so our TDS is very high here, some of the dirtiest in the country, so it’s possible that either the pot needed a few more days to prime, OR, it’s that the water is so bad here. I put some already purified water in there and it worked overnight flawlessly. The good taste didn’t come until about 3 days of consistent use. Yes, it does sweat, I’m still learning but it seems to sweat more in well air-circulated dark places. Everything they say about this kind of water is true, it even improves the flavor of 7-stage purified water. I perfer using purified water in this, if I were using the tap water I would have to find some kind of antiviral solution like charcoal treatment and that would add more time and probably another jug.
