Coherent School Leadership: Forging Clarity from Complexity

Neither the title of this book nor its description offer enough clarity about what specifically this book is about and who is the target audience. "Coherent School Leadership" - what does it mean? Leadership by whom (faculty/teachers or students) and at what type of school (K-12 or college)? I was hoping to find information on how students can become better leaders at school. I was wrong. It is about leadership of school administration, about how they can improve school performance and school ratings. The material presented in the book is largely based on personal experience of the authors (and they extensively cite and quote their own work published elsewhere). To my taste, it is fairly dry language, but it is not relevant to anything I have been looking for, either. I really wish they made it crystal clear in the description what this book is about and who it is written for, instead of two paragraphs of generic words (which sort of reflect how the book is written).
