It does not work. It looks very cute and you can set the timer, but it does not chime.

I needed a timer for my hair treatment. This is perfect and so cute!

Just a heads up for the people who left the reviews saying it doesn’t work:I thought the same thing when I first got mine, but after I read the instructions on the item’s page I learned that you have to FIRST spin the timer clockwise just past 55 minutes and THEN back to the appropriate minute you choose, and then the bell actually does ring when the timer is finished!Apparently because it is mechanical and not battery-operated, it needs to be cranked up to the 55 minute mark on the dial each time so it has enough “power” to actually function. Now that I do that every time, it works fine and is very cute!

It's very convenient and the font is very big and the countdown is very convenient and you can turn off the Numbers when you're not looking at the time.The sound is also quite loud, and the function of silencing is very practical and suitable for quiet places.The clock is a little fast, 10 seconds faster than a day on a cell phone.It's also nice to have a master switch, which turns off when you're not using it, and when you do, the clock turns off.

After reading the reviews I was looking forward to a cute (useless) timer.To the reviews stating it didn’t work: did you read the instructions listed above? You have to “wind” it to 55 minutes then down to your desired time. Do this every time and I have tested this 4 times with different minutes and it worked perfectly each time!Would LOVE to see this available in yellow!!

Well, it;s cute, but it doesn't work at all. It just ticks until it kinda doesn't tick anymore. No louder tick or bell or ding to indicate when it's done, and it ticks well past zero so even listening for it to stop isn't a good indication. I'm seriously disappointed in this junk item and want a refund. Buyer beware! Cute, but useless!

I use a timer for cooking and timing my laundry so I won't leave loads in too long. Unfortunately, unless I am standing right with this timer, I don't hear it "ding." It gives one little "ding," and that's it, so if I step away, I miss it. It is really cute, but I need function over form. I actually bought a timer at a dollar store and it's perfect, I recommend not to waste your money on this.

Works great. Just turn it to 55min and back to the time you want. Super easy needs no battery's surprised with how good the quality is for the 12$ I spent wife loved it. What more do you want lol

I'll be honest, I bought this because it was cute, and it is! The timer has a smooth matte finish that feels really nice to the touch. It is also very functional. It works great as a timer, except there was an extra step that I did not expect. Before you set it to the time that you need, you have to turn it clockwise to 55 mins first, and then counterclockwise to the actual amount of time you need. I was thrown off with that at first, but it doesn't bother me now. The timer is also really loud, which is great for when I'm in a different room from the timer. Also, the fact that it doesn't need batteries is great!

Love that little timer, saved me a lot of worry and watching the clock with an old-fashioned oven with no clock and I even time my son when he writes his homework to minimise distraction - awesome. No electricity and batteries involved, so good for the pocket and for the planet.
