The Leica M Photographer: Photographing with Leica's Legendary Rangefinder Cameras

The photographs were a mix of good and mediocre
This could have been better. The challenge given to the reader by the author to approach and photographs a number of themes, was good. The author explained the challenge well enough but the images he produced ranged from good to rather mediocre. Maybe he could have used images by other renowned Leica users to explain and make his point, almost certainly in such a case the objectives would have been better made with more powerful images to illustrate his ideas. Shame that neither he nor his publisher knows the difference between discrete and discreet, an important word and an important difference in Leica photography.

A Total Disappointment!
This book was a real disappointment after I waited for over six months for it to finally be shipped. Instead of going into any depth about the Leica M cameras, the author basically launches his own "vanity project", showcasing his own mediocre photo portfolio. If you want to learn more about the Leica M cameras, this is not the book for you. This is a self-indulgent, self promotion by the author, for the author.
