Pond pump
This pump comes w/o a pig tail. My pond pump is on a regular lamp style timer. The pump runs 8 hours a day . Day in day out. Pump seems to last 4 to 6 month with constant use.

Unsatisfied
Did not like the product being bent and fan cover falling off when taking product out of box. Box was not damaged. Product was packed properly in manufacturers box and Amazon box, boxes showing no damage. Product was damaged at manufacturer before packing. Also had only about an 8 inch cord sticking out of product with no male electric plug to put in wall receptacle. Worst problem was no color code schematics to show how to wire Chinese wire colors to American color code wireing. No fault of Amazon. But Harbor Freight made sale, I needed the pump.

Cheap
Bought this pump tp pump well water to my garden . It set unused for 9 months before I tried to use it . Motor would not turn at all . Got it unstuck but it will not pump ! Tried every thing . Took it apart and I don't see anything wrong .I even tried it plumbed backwards. Nothing . Junk !

Good value
This is a pretty good value for a general use pump. It was a little hard to get primed but finally took off and runs well. Some aspects are poor quality but the motor and pump seem totally fine.

Got the pump put it in and and ran it for a two weeks and it exploded litterly exploded. After the first two day's of running it started making noise. so i requested a return and ordered a different kind and had to wait till it came in. got the new pump about 8 days later. was gonna put it on the next weekend. then a day before the weekend went out there and the pump was off. Then i noticed the motor case was split and everything plastic was melted.Not a good product in my opinion. I believe that if ur gonna use this pump u should have a spare on hand. But on a good note the company did send me a replacement. I never hooked it up still in box. Don't wanna take any chances with this product
