So grateful for this book!
This has been my most used pregnancy book. Currently at 25+1, I've used the exercises in this book throughout the 2nd trimester (was too ill in 1st trimester). Every time I do a session I am so grateful to have the book to guide me through exercises that are keeping me strong and healthy throughout pregnancy. Since morning sickness abated, I have not suffered with any issues around my pregnancy, and I am certain a lot of this is to do with staying strong by following the exercises in this book.I love Charlie's frank and easy to read sections on each trimester, your body and how you might tailor your exercise to your changing body. The way it's broken down by trimester is very useful unlike some other pregnancy books where you're not always sure which part of the pregnancy they're referring too. It's great that she includes the 4th trimester and recovery, too.The guide for each exercise is very helpful and easy to reference mid-season.Only criticisms I have are with some of the more 'pt' elements. Each set, whether it's a warm up, cool down or main set has a massive circle next to it saying to repeat 3x. She writes in the main sections to do the amount that feels right, but then these circles contradict that. The other criticism is around terminology - I could really have used a guide to understand the difference between 20 reps, 20 reps each side, 20 reps alternating, as this can change the total number of reps altogether. A quick glossary would have been helpful as I'm sure I've mixed this up several times in my exercises. These are both minor criticisms however, and in general I'm very grateful to have had this book on my journey so far.

Takes the guess work out of workouts
It's truly nice not having to come up with your own routines during pregnancy and hope you are safe doing so. This book lays out the strength training workouts for you in a well thought out format. Some workouts are new to me and add variety. I do cardio on my treadmill and do one circuit instead of the 2 circuits for each workout and it's plenty enough for me. This book is a game changer. Thankful I came across it!Update 5/15/2022This book helped me get stronger during my second trimester. I feel great. Entering 3rd trimester and the new workout routines for the 3rd trimester in the book will help me keep up with exercising. Still loving the book. Using the book solely a circuit at a time coupled with walking. I can't recommend this book enough.

Makes working out during pregnancy easy
Such an amazing book. Exercise and sport have always been a big part of my life and once I became pregnant I knew I wanted to keep my strength up as it can help in so many ways. After following bumps&burpees on Instagram and following along with live workouts I knew these were exactly the type of workouts I loved. I preordered the book straight away and it is amazing. There is a section for each trimester and lots of easy to follow workouts, upper body, lower body and full body circuits. It’s really easy to follow and it is so good to feel like you have done a proper workout but know that it is completely safe to do while pregnant.

Love this book!!
This book is an amazing resource for working out during pregnancy! I love that the exercises are explained easily and its a great compliment to walking. I am 31 weeks and still going strong. I can’t wait to try to postpartum exercises, also. Highly recommend to other active mamas!
