Really happy about this purchase. Installed it myself, no instructions came with it but it was simple to figure out. Makes my showers a little more luxurious, would buy it again!

So I'm doing renovations on an apartment complex with around 130 units. I'm not the General , I'm just a subcontractor and part of my contract involves installing the shower rod. I recently installed 30 shower rods in one of the buildings and when it was time to order 40 more for the next building I came across these. They were $10 a piece cheaper than the first set and, on the page, (Amazon), they looked identical. I decided to order one to check it out. Different branding but I'm sure it's the same manufacturer. The finish is slightly different but still worked well with the nickel hardware elsewhere in the apartment. Needless to say, I've ordered 39 more for building two and plan on, if available, using these in the remaining 60 or so units. If your looking for a fair product at an unbelievable price you can't go wrong with this.

Looks good, pretty easy to install, a noticable amount of extra elbow room in the shower. I installed the brackets about two inches above the top of the shower liner, and a couple inches in from the edge. It was excellent placement to keep the water in the tub and shower curtain off the bottom.

You will need to install this rod in plaster walls, unless you want to drill holes in your tiles or whatever hard shower/tub wall you have. It requires two screws on each end and includes plastic screw anchors. There are no instructions included, but it's not difficult to figure out how to install. The end cap covers do not fit snuggly and remain slightly loose. Otherwise, the rod has remained in position and it does provide more elbow room. If you don't want to drill holes in your walls, you may wish to pay more and look elsewhere for a tension rod version. If you want a cheaper one and don't mind mounting it in plaster, though, this is decent enough for the price.

I am not a professional handy man, I just needed shower rods for a new place and I decided to get them, and install it all myself.I wish instructions specified what drill bit to use and go into more details instead of “drill holes”. Also, there seems to be more screws than needed? Again, instructions do not list what is in the package and when to use which parts. For someone who was installing shower rod for the first time - it was a bit of a struggle.

Adds a lot of elbow room to a tub shower combo.

Pros: good price for what you get. It looks good and serves the purpose of giving you 33% more room in shower as stated.Cons: parts bag, lacking the washers. Says 8 on parts sheet. Missing just 2 but not a big problem. The wall mount cover has a mount cover that is pretty hard to get a hold of to turn and fasten to lock into the slots to hold in place. have to use tape on it to get a grip to tighten. Just a poor design internally on the slots to accommodate the cover pins. Can use clear silicone to keep in place though.

Parfait

It is a chocolate brown metallic color. Looks great, the curve makes the shower feel roomier. The way it attaches the rod will wiggle a little, but it doesn’t effect it’s use ability.

We bought this recently and absolutely love it. It gives you so much more room in the shower so you're not smothered by the shower curtain! Highly recommend!

Makes a huge difference in added space in the shower! Easy installation.
