BLACK Crew Socks 3-pack

I do about 3 miles of dedicated walking a day for exercise. I suffer from some degree of neuropathy which walking helps. These socks provide good comfort both while walking on pavement in runner shoes and around the house. The padding is a little thick for summer weather though. But they are cozy in winter. I wear a size 14 shoe and this XL sock size provides plenty of room in the toe bed and the ankle is not too tight for me; but I have runners legs. If your ankles are wide, I could these being a little too tight.

These are great if you wear boots and must stand or walk a lot during the day. The socks are very thick on the bottom and very comfortable. The high-bulk acrylic feels like cotton. I've been wearing them while at work for a whole YEAR and they have held up very well. The photo speaks for itself, those socks are a year old. No holes etc. Made in USA. I'm coming back to buy more.

nice thick and cushy but a little warm for year round

Stop looking and just buy these. Nice and cushiony. Not to tight but tight enough to stay up without falling down and bunching up in your shoe. Not to hot either. I wear them with desert boots in Afghanistan and they are just fine.

Nicely cushioned. They are a little snugger than I would like, but that isn't surprising and I still find them comfortable.

These are very nice socks, thick cushion, foot length is great, but they did what most sock makers do these days and that is to use as little material for the leg portion as possible, ie. is way too tight. And I am a women buying men’s socks because women’s sock are embarrassing devoid of material, masking them not only tight but small, to fit only the smallest feet, while the rest of us have to pull and tug trying to get them on. I cannot have anything too tight on my feet or legs, so I have switched to men’s socks. While I used to have no problem with tight legs, it seems the practice of using less material has caught up to men’s socks as well. None of my recent orders of men’s socks have had a comfortable leg band, not to mention you have to look close if you want to avoid the ubiquitous compression band around the arch of the foot section. At least these are one of the few to leave out that design disaster. May be helpful to some, but is agonizingly tight for the rest of us.So, if you are looking for a wide enough leg band for comfort or for swelling, keep looking. I am...

I bought these socks for my husband. He suffers from neuropathy in his feet. He needs the extra cushion on the soles and also for warmth. He wears a size 15 shoe so what a wonderful surprise to finally find socks in his size. I would recommend these to my friends.
