If you need a razor for travelling this is the one! It’s the perfect size and doesn’t take up too much space at all. Feels good quality just like the rest of the women’s Venus razor line.

I usually use an electric razor but with a holiday booked in the new year, I won't be taking that so am looking for an easy to use, close shaving alternative to take with me.This seems to be geared towards travel so I was looking forward to trying it.Its neatly packaged, and the razor is safely secured in a little plastic tub which clicks securely shut, again ideal for travel so you don't put your hand in your bag and cut yourself.Saving wise - its a little different to anything I have used before. Its small and a little strange to use but I managed with no nics, and a nice close shave, I am really pleased with the results.There is one large issue though. I tried to order additional blades, and cannot find them anywhere. You can buy another razor with 1 or 3 blades, but nowhere seems to sell the blades on their own. So it seems it is meant to be disposable rather than reusable and that's such a lot of waste with the product and packaging.So for me its a 4 star product which I would normally recommend but because of the lack of blades available to purchase, I would not purchase again.

I bought my first one of these razors years ago. It wasn't for travelling, just for space saving in the bathroom.I've tried other razors since then but I keep going back to this one. I've found this is much easier to hold, and doesn't hurt my wrist. I can get into the backs of my knees, and around my ankle area much easier with this than a traditional style razor, plus it's ultra light. I just hold it with thumb and forefinger.This is my second handle purchase in maybe 6+ years, and I wouldn't have needed that except I lost my original when moving house.Also, if you go on Gillette's website you can get a pre-paid envelope to send your used blades back for recycling.

Amazing not only for travel but also for everyday use. I was worried it would be too small and fiddly to use in my private area but it's actually way easier as it can get into all the corners so much easier than a standard sized one.Also it takes any Venus razor blade. So when you need to change the blade just use any Venus blade you like. They should all fit. Which makes things again so much easier. As you can add your fav blade to it and use it everywhere. Where ever you travel or just at home. :)

The Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Snap Women's Razor comes boxed and includes a pink plastic storage container. It already has a 5 blade razor head fitted onto the mini handle, but no additional heads in the pack.I’ve bought one of these for my eldest a while back but I’ve never tried this style of Venus. I thought that the handle would be way too small and fiddly, but it’s actually fine. So far, so good with controlling and manoeuvring and I bet I will get more accustomed to the shorter handle shape once I’m more used to it.The case that it sits in is great for travel and for keeping the bare blade away from children. It has holes underneath so that the razor can dry completely, which will keep the blade nicer for longer. I find it slightly fiddly to place the razor into the case and I’m sure that could be more smooth. You have to set it in completely flat whilst holding the smallest part of the handle, line it up with the case and click it into place.The price is standard for a Venus razor without any extra heads but I really do like the case element and the compact style.
