Virina, Female Demon (1) Miniature

The figure is amazing and looks so much better in person. I was expecting a mushy and cheap figure for the price which was all I was looking for. But I was surprised to see how much miniature detail is packed into her.However the packaging was bent and smashed when I opened it. Figure was untouched and still inside the original packaging. But the presentation was lost and it could’ve been worse.

Metal and hard plastic is certainly easier to paint, but I truely enjoy the "Bones" (flexible plastic) material because it can be more confidently subjected to a less rigid storage/transport compartment, unlike the forementioned. The only issue I found with this material is that it is difficult to paint. Specifically in regard to the miniature flexing when subjected to any kind of pressure such as the barrel of a paintbrush.If washed with mild detergent, the mini is advertised to be directly painted on without a primer. I opted for a primer anyways and GW Citadel paints for my specific application and I'm very pleased with the result. Aside from my own immaturity as a painter, the model is beautifully sculpted and I'd love to sample the rest of the "Bones" line up by Reaper Miniatures.

Non painted plastic mini looks good no complaints

Wash the mini before you paint it and it goes on like a dream. It arrived in great condition. Reaper bones are so cheap but the sculpts are nice and once painted they look amazing. You could drop this thing off a ten story building and it would survive the fall.

Nice detail and fun to paint. Only downside is that it doesn't come with a plastic base.

She came on time and was neither damaged or bent! She was fun to paint as well, I’m just starting out painting miniatures, and I’m happy with the results! I’ll probably get a few more to paint with different color schemes!

Love it, exactly what I expected

This is not the best model. It is a 7$ one though and for that price it fits well enough. I used it to test some ideas before ruining a far more valuable model, and I think this one is great treated similarly. It's good to practice with, or if you don't care about insane quality. It'll fit right in with other DnD miniatures as long as the players don't look too closely.I do plan on buying another in the future so I can see how much I've improved over time.
