Dimensions Bucket of Flowers Crewel Embroidery Kit, 11'' W x 14'' H

My Mom (83 by now) has become a cross-stitch 'addict', since my beloved Dad passed away in March 2006.Since then, she has been stuck to this hobby thoroughly. She saw this design in a European magazine (think it was a Spanish magazine), then she had been looking for it for almost three years in a row, unable to get it!Last November, I showed her all the Web pages related to cross-stitch products I could find in the Internet with Google.Then she asked me to look for this design once again (by that time, she was almost obsessed for getting it), but it had to be requested to a distributor in England, and it meant to spend almost $120 for the product to be sent and delivered in Lima, Peru...Then I looked in Amazon.com... Gosh, they got it thru one of their associated Dealers in the U.S.!!! We got this product in just two weeks!!! The price + S&H was certainly affordable!!!My Mom just finished it, she's so happy with it that now, she's expecting me for getting her a new design set... And she has insisted I must get it thru Amazon!!!

This cross stitch kit is beautiful! The kit is well organized and the instructions very clear and easy to follow. I have never had an issue with Dimensions products, they have always had enough thread to finish the piece with some to spare. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and as I'm stitching I can almost feel the warm summer breeze and smell the fresh air.

I loved the picture but didnt realize it didnt come with aida cloth. It came with some other kind of material that was so fine that I couldnt see where the squares were even with a magnifying glass. I'm so disappointed. I wanted to work on this while I was recovering from surgery, but that's impossible with that fine material. So now I have to wait until I'm able to walk and get out of the house and I guess I'll have to go to a fabric store to buy some aida cloth.
