A lot easier to put on than most compression socks without a zip. Would have preferred the compression to be greater than what it is. 15-20 mmHg does not feel as though it compresses enough, however socks seem to do the job.

I bought them for my bitter, cantankerous 90 yr old disabled mother to wear on a 10 hour trans-Atlantic flight, on the recommendation of her consultant treating her vascular edema. I thought the zipper would make it easiest to get them on...however, on opening the package (delivered less then 24 yrs later) she angrily discarded them because she hated the colour... apparently they're not sexy enough for her. Sorry, that's all I can say.

As I am now of an advanced age and am subject to swelling of my legs throughout the day I require to wear support stockings to reduce the swelling. The stockings I was prescribed were quite difficult to put on as well as to remove, so I thought I would try one's with a zipper and also toe-less.. These proved to be much better bet and are as efficient as my previous stockings but much easier to handle. Being toe-less the also keep my feet cooler in hot weather. I am very pleased with my purchase, and they are good value for the money.

Excellent quality. I have had severe problems with my feet/legs swelling. I bought an extra-large pair and when they arrived I thought I would never get them on..!! however, the material is very strong and will stretch. The zip is also very strong and will allow you to zip them up, when you think they are about to slip. I have taken them off a couple of times and they go back on the same way with no loss of shape.Once you have them on, they really support you and are comfortable, they also seem to have helped my varicose veins, but I think it is too early yet. Very happy with these and I will be buying another pair for my wife's restless legs.

Purchased for an elderly friend who was visiting us from Sweden. Her feet and legs were swollen and her other compression socks she really struggled to get them on. They arrived yesterday and she put them on this morning with little problem. We then went to London for the day. On our return I asked how her legs were and she said good!

For quite some time I have developed considerable swelling in my feet, ankles, and lower legs. Support stockings were suggested but I found those almost impossible and time-consuming to put on, because I have arthritis in both hands and not much of a grip. I am indebted to a friend who suggested to buy these, as they have a zip. I had a look online and also read the reviews - one review which came from Canada was particularly helpful as it advised to put on the knee-socks only as far as the ankle, close the zip entirely and then pull the sock up to below the knee - it works! I shall "splash out" and buy a second pair as they ought to be washed every day.
