ALL. THE. FEELS!
This book is so appropriately named - it brings ALL THE FEELS. I laughed my butt off and swooned and cried, all in the span of a few hours. We first met Alex in Spoiler Alert. The initial impression is that he's an off the rails actor heading for disaster, but the reality is that he's a deeply loyal, protective, huge hearted guy who, yeah, has a bit of an impulsive streak. He's seen some tragic things happen to people he loves, and those events have really shaped who he is and how he reacts to events in his life. The guilt he carries and how it shapes every aspect of his life is heartbreaking, especially for such a charismatic character.Lauren is a character I can relate to in so many ways. She worked as an ER therapist - working the crap shifts, working holidays, working weekends, etc. because she's unmarried and childless and wants to ensure her coworkers get to spend those special times with their families. After years of this (plus the stress that comes from dealing with mental health issues in an ER in the best of circumstances) she's burned out and just needs a break. She's also a very plus size woman who has spent her life enduring insults and mistreatment from strangers and loved ones alike. She's so accustomed to making herself physically and mentally miserable so she doesn't make anyone else uncomfortable that she doesn't even realize she's doing it. It's agonizing to see how Lauren treats herself and how she allows others to treat her, if for no other reason than I so clearly recognize it.Alex and Lauren have a rocky start, but soon develop a friendly rapport, Their romance is very much a slow burn, but it's such a fun, satisfying read. I loved all of the little fanfic snippets and the group text messages and other insights that added to this story. I was a big fan of Spoiler Alert, but this one probably tops it. Overall just a nice, fun, feel good read! (less)

Just as delightful as Spoiler Alert!
This book was just as delightful as Spoiler Alert, and I adored every minute of it!Alex Woodroe is an actor with a starring role on a very popular fantasy TV show, which is in its final season. He's very unhappy with his character's trajectory, but there's not much he can do about it. Except write fan fiction fixes. Anonymously, of course. One night, he gets into a bar fight and gets arrested. Everyone is mad at him, but no one actually asked him what happened. The showrunners assign him a keeper, who is the cousin to one of them. She is to stay by his side any time he leaves set or his house, and keep him out of trouble until the final season has aired.Lauren Clegg is a former ER therapist who is currently on a break after burning out. She's on vacation when she gets rooked into helping her (hated) cousin by becoming a minder for his misbehaving star. But she realizes pretty much right away that Alex is more than what he seems. As they spend time together, and become friends, they begin to care for each other more than either of them expected.Alex is the traditional handsome Hollywood heartthrob, and Lauren is a very short, very round woman. They're technically working together. They have very different lifestyles. To the outside world, it would seem they don't "fit". But, they really have a lot in common, and they care about each other so much. I loved watching their soft, slow, unexpected descent into love, and how they both ultimately embraced it.Both Alex and Lauren had family drama (past and/or present) that caused them pain and worry, and that helped them relate to each other even more. They also each had a great best friend to help them keep their wits about them: Marcus (the hero from Spoiler Alert) for Alex, and Sionna for Lauren. They had great friendships, and really used their BFFs as sounding boards, and support systems, as needed.Alex and Lauren both faced job uncertainty, weird family dynamics, self-image and self-worth conflicts, and their unexpected feelings for each other. They muddled along mostly gracefully, though not without issue, and I appreciated each of their self-reflections when things did go awry. This book was so sweet, and soft, and sexy, and I adored every minute of it! Alex and Lauren were perfect for each other, and were a joy to read. I can't wait for more from this author!!

An ok Romance
I bought this book because of its glowing reviews. I found it to be just o.k. I liked the idea of a full figured heroine. But, give her a break, she also has bad hair and a beaky nose?! A little overkill for me. It's not the worst book you can spend your money on, just not quite as good as I was expecting. There were no big laughs, and certainly no tears. Having said all this, you might love it. For those who have, "Good for you!"

It really will give you All The Feels
After reading Spoiler Alert, I couldn’t get my hands All The Feels fast enough. Seeing a story where a character didn’t have to be called beautiful or fit a mold made for her by anyone and find a beautiful and enduring love? Had me hook line and sinker. Alex and Lauren were a match made in heaven. Having a character so perfectly portray ADHD (my own illness) and another who is never described in a way others would think positively of (on the outside) felt like being seen. I will read any book Olivia Dade throws at me.
