It really is a good pomade. Whoever leaves less than a 4 star review doesn't know pomaded very well. The scent is....maybe vanilla, honeycomb and roses mixed together or something like that. The hold is Medium/strong depending on how much you use. Compared to Murray's Superior it is malleable so it can be restyled throughout the day. When you scoop it out of the can and start working it it turns from the waxy feel to straight up cream. Now I'm just rambling on. BUY IT lol

Essentially Mrrayys light... this stuff will do the trick, and be a little easier to clean off your hands. Not as sticky as the original. This and the original are the best stuff I've found for thick hair... I'm white and other stuff will not "hold" like this stuff does. I use it both forshort hair and long hair. So if you are white, have super thick hair that can't be tamed with other products, try murrays out. Disclaimer- It looks like you have product in your hair. Not necessarily greasy, but definitely THERE. So if you are trying to be discrete, look elsewhere. Cheers!

I'm white and have thick semi curly hair and wanted that Don Draper look but couldn't find anything that would keep my hair from sticking up. I tried every pomade I could get my hands on but none of them had the hold. And then I found this. Yes it is a little bit greasy, yes it does take a few washes to completely get the product out of your hair, but if you're like me and nothing can tame your mane, try this. Cheap, nice smell, great hold and shine.

Hmmm.. This stuff is a bit of an odd duck to me. I like Murray's superior but find though it is stiffer than say Dax Wave and Groom (the red can stuff you can get nearly everywhere) in the can, it doesn't quite hold as stiffly on the hair. Likewise, this product -which is marketed as a medium weight product on the Murray's website- is still quite stiff. Maybe even stiffer than red Dax also... But it is a bit more flexible in the hair. What this means to me is that I simply find both Murray's superior and Nu Nile to be a little more difficult to work with than other comparable products. Obviously, YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY! This is solely personal preference and both above products are seriously well made classics that work great despite my personal preferences (clearly, I prefer medium-light weight pomades such as Black and White (stiffer), and Hair Glo (wetter)). One thing I appreciate greatly about the Murray's company is the way that they buy and act as caretaker for classic pomade lines without toying with the recipes too much. They are a literal 'wax museum' of vintage hair products. Their list of specialty pomades reads like a timeline in the development of pomade. some of them, like hair glo, seem to date back to the 30s. Sweet Georgia Brown (which is currently manufactured at the Murray's cannery though unavailable in the states) is an even older product, if memory serves. All of the products the Murray's company has acquired over the years are basically made as they were and that's a really cool thing. that makes these products truly both classic and vintage. Looking for something with a simple, uncluttered ingredient list? Look no further. Some other things I like about this product: The smell is a very light vanilla odor, not unpleasant at all. Like some other Murray's products, it barely registers which, for some can be a real plus. The hold I would label medium-medium hard though the product itself is pretty thick and waxy. The sheen is a nice light shine- Maybe shinier than Superior but certainly less than a light pomade like Murray's superlight or Royal Crown..

Love Murray's, first time using NuNile and it has a great fragrance and hold. Pharmapacks is a great seller and shipper. Recommend!👍

This is too sticky. You must wash hands 2-3 times before the goo comes off. This will be great for those who need tons of control, but overkill for those who simply need to hold things in place. I went back to Suavecito.
