It works as expected. Not very comfortable, but useful.

In all fairness, it's probably worth the extra star, and before I'm done writing the review I'll probably give it one. It's really a very well-thought-out device, and there's no part of it that doesn't contribute to being worn comfortably, however, it really doesn't do much of anything for my hernia. Nor, unfortunately, has any other belt I've purchased. I knew the doctor said that I had a particularly severe problem, and the harness I'm wearing could probably be rearranged a bit and double as a parachute harness. So, while I can't testify to its effectiveness, I can honestly say that it is easy to adjust, the design gives the wearer a lot of flexibility, and it might even be considered attractive, considering its intended purpose.

Poor fit

I bought these at first to prevent a hernia from recurring after surgery, but then i realized to prevent a hernia is to just practice safe lifting practices. No belt will prevent a hernia. This belt however did help me recover from my surgery, but after wearing it for 6 weeks now it is too tight. it did what it was supposed to do help me recover, but you should not wear it if you do not need it as the compression will cause pain.

This was a stab in the dark. I was so Happy to open the package and pull out a well constructed, expensive feeling piece of medical Equipment. I was afraid it would be a cheap piece of poor workmanship. But THIS is GREAT! It Keeps the hernia pushed in. There are small puffy balls that can be put over the hernia and adjusted to keep the right pressure. This Is For Before and after surgery, and I know this will last.

I am 6' 1" .....195 pounds. The brace fit perfect and restored mobility without constantly worrying about a very uncomfortable condition. I wore this for 2 1/2 weeks prior to surgery and would highly recommend this product, stop comparing and buy now!!!!!

It is good, except that I need support to push up one testicle, and the straps are not wide enough nor do the Velcro line up well enough. If you have a hernia in your scrotum, the pads make no sense whatsoever. However, the straps, using some underwear as separation from the straps is way better than other kinds of hernia belts that have the scrotum cradle. The scrotum cradles slip off your sack after you lean over or walk somewhere.... Still the straps on this type of belt could be thicker and more ball friendly.
