I had a japanese student living with me for a while, and she turned me onto this wonderful japanese green tea that her mom had sent her from Japan. When I ran out, I started searching for a tea that I could purchase here that tasted the same. I couldn't find anything that came close - until now! This tea from Rishi is virtually identical, and I absolutely love it. It has the deep, earthy, robust flavor of japanese green tea, but is also very smooth, and not bitter. It is the combination of the macha and the green tea leaves that gives it this complex and satisfying profile. Highly recommended!!

Rishi tea especially matcha and jasmine are so far the best brand of the tea. Might leaf jasmine is not bad but unfortunately you can’t find them selling in HEB no more which is a shame. 😫

Rishi tea is very light and smooth. The flavor is subtle and mild. If you like strong green tea then this is not the tea for you. However, if you prefer light, mild and smooth, you've found the tea you will absolutely love! It is wonderfully calming.
