Great except hard to get the radio to stay on a station
I love everything about this alarm (I try to keep my phone away from my bed, I just don't want it to rule my whole life), especially the dimmer option on the light, but I cannot get the radio to stay on a single station, so sometimes I wake up to static, or sometimes I don't wake up at all because it's not even on static, it's just silent so even though the alarm "went off", no sound is coming out. Oops.

This replaced a dead clock radio in the bathroom. Size is a bit smaller than I expected, but it does the job and looks good. The digital numbers are bright and radio is surprisingly loud so you can sing in the shower w/o the music being drowned out (pun intended). The reception is quite good as well. A digital tuner would have been nice, but what do you expect for the price? Analog tuner is VERY twitchy and requires patience so I wouldn't recommend if if you expect to be changing stations frequently. Bottom line? I'd buy it again for the purpose intended.

Would have been just as disappointed at 1/4 the price.
It functions roughly as described but I certainly would not have purchased it if I had been able to examine it and listen to it first hand. On top of that the seller does not accept returns for a refund or I would have returned it. The worst thing about it is POOR SOUND QUALITY. Why Sony allowed their name on this is unimaginable and will most definitely affect my future purchase decisions when comparing them against other electronic manufacturers. (My prior Sony purchases, which even include a still working 1970's era Sony reel to reel tape deck, affected my faith in them to decide to buy this but...no more). Physically it is flimsy construction compared to what Sony ~used to~ make for a clock radio and I've owned several before this one. The "off" push button is like a reset button you would expect to find hidden on the inside of an electronic device for infrequent use - not the outside for daily use. Don't buy this product and get stuck like I did.

hmmm.... bought two of them. Mixed bag. Alarms are not loud enough, radio sounds super thin... buttons are a bit confusing.I guess you get what you pay for.

Easy to read time
Easy to read time, three different brightness settings, Good radio reception, sound average or slightly above. I have not used the alarm as yet.

Great little system. Good radio, easy to use, easy to see in the dark. Proves the old adage that simple is often best.

Other than that it's a great little clock radio
The sound is OK for my needs but may be a negative for someone more demanding. Other than that it's a great little clock radio.
