Croquet Time Wooden Outdoors Croquet Set Contains Mallets, Balls, Wickets, Stakes (Pack of 4)

Items were VERY WELL packaged...however several sticks were cracked (at the end) where you screw the sticks into the mallets and I'm fearing that they will altogether splinter upon much use. I did contact the seller, notifying them of the problem - and they reminded me that the sets are guaranteed for a full year, and if any full breakage occurs - they will gladly replace those (once I've proven...via photos...that the mallets completely came apart)...SO FAR/SO GOOD...we've played with the set a few times and all is well...(a few of the wire wickets were also bent, upon arrival/they arrive as straight rods) - and, once configured into the correct shape for game-playing...they do bend even further, VERY EASILY...while you're playing if a ball hits them or when you're even placing them into the ground.

I was very happy with the price. It was shipped and received quickly. When I received the set, it did look rather flimsy and cheaply made. the mallets are very thin. After a few uses, my fears were confirmed.. all the mallets started breaking.. it was very disappointing - I was hoping the kids would get a lot of use out of these..

Broke in half first time it was used. Sent it back and got a full refund. I just thought by all the reviews before ordering it that this would have been a better selection. Was a little dissapointed overall.

My boys (6 and 4 yrs.) played once with these. They weren't ever able to play with them again because two of the mallets broke, splitting the wood handles, and another of the mallets cracked.

The mallets are lightweight. Perhaps good for young kids. The hoops are plastic covered wire that you have to shape by hand. They have no strength, so can only be put in soft ground. OK for the price but not likely to last a long time.

I knew better, I really did, but I just wanted a cheap croquet set I could paint like flamingos for an Alice in Wonderland themed party I am throwing. These are really really cruddy. Three out of the four mallets have sizable cracks in them, the bag is a really thin mesh that if you are not careful with the stakes can be torn quite easily. It will serve my use (hopefully) by lasting for one 4 hour party, but if you are looking for something to play with a few times, do not buy these. Really shoddy craftsmanship. I am actually surprised they are allowed to sell something this cheaply constructed. Alas, you get what you pay for. ;)

If you are planning to entertain over a summer (or spring or fall for that matter) holiday or afternoon, a croquet set is pretty essential. I ordered this one to give it a test run for my backyard. I was surprised to see the high quality of the product. They clubs and balls feel very solid, and you can achieve a great grip on the club. They have a nice weight to them. Set up was easy, and I was able to get a very nice solid entertainment for a fantastic price. Would recommend.

Garbage!! The sticks were broken and someone glued them together!!! horrible product! Stay away!
