Flexible Tripod for GoPro, Mirrorless Point and Shoot Cameras, Blue

After a seemingly endless search (roundabout 4 days) for the "perfect" travel tripod, I randomly found this one in the abyss that is the amazon catalogue. Very fine quality, great size (fits and takes up little room in my 30L backpack), and at an agreeable price. Seems quite sturdy and SO GOOD at clinging to anything and everything you wish. I use it with the Canon g7x and have had no issues yet.

This thing is awesome! It stays in place without any issues and as an added perk it looks pretty cool too. It's not only light weight but very sturdy, I can see it lasting me quite a while as long as I treat it well. I would definitely recommend this tripod to anyone looking for a nice tripod of this sort on a budget.

It broke very fast wasn’t even using it a lot but after that it was great I glued it back and it was fine but watch out it might break fast.

I used this tripod during a lake trip. It worked well for part of the day until I jumped into the water with it. The tripod broke at the point where the camera swivels and rotates. My GoPro fell off and immediately sank to the bottom of the lake. Don't waste your money on this.

I purchased this tripod based on the high reviews of others.I received the tripod and first thing I had to do was go out and purchase the tripod mount to be able to attach my Go Pro. This is not a fault of the product and not why I gave it one star. Would be beneficial for consumers if the details mentioned that a tripod mount is required. (Foot in mouth if it does and I just overlooked that part).The reason for the rating: I opened the product, set the legs in tripod stance (like the picture) and took a photo with my Go Pro. I pushed the legs back together in place, like it came in box, and one of the legs broke off at the base. I though it would snap on but it does not. It appears it is glued. I would hope that these would be slightly more durable and not break immediately after moving the legs out and back in. I will be sending back and trying another one that is priced similar but I suspect they are all probably made the same at this price point. Hopefully mine was just a fluke.UPDATE 5/23/2016So, after posting my initial review, I received an email from the product founder. He was very apologetic regarding my experience with the product and offered to send me out a replacement directly. I accepted and said I would update my review after trying out the replacement. I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars for the customer service provided. I will be testing out the tripod on a camping trip in a couple of weeks and will update my review again at that point.Update 6/12/2016Took replacement on a week long canoeing/camping trip to the BWCA (Boundary Waters, Northern Minnesota/Canada). Had it wrapped around one of the crossbeams of the canoe which worked well. Got to our campsite on day two, set the tripod down to take some stills of the area and as soon as I picked the tripod up and put the legs back together to carry, one of them broke off. I really want to like this product due to the manufacturer sending out a replacement immediately. I ABSOLUTELY APPRECIATE the customer service provided but in the end I need a product that is reliable. I am stumped by the overwhelming positive reviews as I have had two of them back to back break when just adjusting the legs. That is a bit more than a chance defective item

So far, this tripod is great! I've used it a couple times in the past few weeks and it does exactly what it needs to. Very flexible and responsive to adjustments while also stiff when it needs to be. It seems so far it can stay still on many different surfaces, even when wet! Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I have only used it for about 3 weeks now and haven't really tested it's endurance although it's body seems very sturdy and high quality. Overall, this is the best tripod I've ever gotten for this price range!

This tripod makes it easy to set my 360 camera up where ever I want. I took it out on a boat and attached it to the side rail, sail boat went on the mast, car went on the antenna. Pretty much where ever I wanted it to go it went. I also liked that I was able to spread it out and use it to stabilize in my truck and get some nice pictures that way.

Good product. It's very strong and perfect for my Gopro Hero4. I broke a smaller tripod on a recent trip and decided to get a taller replacement. This one fits the bill and added extra length at the same time so I can grip onto widerived posts or stabilize it better on uneven surfaces.This is a great item for amatuer and pro film makers.
