My gray haired husband put this in his hair to be Bob Ross for Halloween. It looked great and washed completely out the next day as we’d hoped.

I had been using this tinted gel for a while now. Not a fan of coloring my white hair. so using this helps. gives my hair a more natural look and I do not have to withstand the horrible chemical smell of hair tints.It is not permanent. It is just until the next hair wash... and then samo samo.... I suggest you use some kind of finger covers to avoid the blackness under the fingernails. Silicone finger tips are the best, or simply kitchen plastic wrap will do the trick. is better to apply it first on a plastic comb and then comb your hair. It avoids the "black scalp" or the black spots on the scalp.

I’m currently trying to figure out if I want to dye my hair black or grow out the grey that I inherited from my parents. I’m a sistah with natural wavy hair, it’s not coily and it’s not curly. This gel is straight up messy!! You’ll have black hands, black fingernails, black smudges on your sink the list can go on. BUT!! I like it because it dulls the white grey hair around my edges. It doesn’t cover everything but it makes it tolerable for me. Like i said, my hair isn’t straight so the gel doesn’t lay my hair down and hold it. I have to use a different get and a scarf.Bottom line..It has a masculine scent, but I like it. The hold is about a 3 out of 10. The coverage doesn’t last all day, it easily sweats and washes off. Even your hands and counter. If you can deal with that, it’s a decent product.

This is great stuff it works a little too good. More than a quarter size and my hair went super jet black in no time. I'm lucky enough to be off from work for a week during Thanksgiving so I have been playing with the amount of gel to use. I have found it best for me to add about a dime size amount to my palm then mix in my favorite gel to get the desired wetness of my hair. It's definitely going to be a different amount for everyone depending on how much coverage or darkness you want to go with. Good luck. Update: just ordered my 3rd and I am still 100% happy with it. (It will stain clothes so careful) Apply it without a shirt on and dry it with a hairdryer. Or wear a towel around your shirt when putting it on.

It’s black when it’s still wet, but once it’s dry and you have bright colored hair, you can see the other color just not as bright. Flakes badly. The scent smells good. Holds in place, easy to apply.

Wasn't seal all the outside of the bottle was a mess seems as if it was returned by someone else then sold to me,I wouldn't recommend this to no one

Washes out and gives a great natural look to hair. Definitely a darkening and grey coverage gel
