High quality paper, good patterns and decent price!
I've been a semi-serious buyer of Origami paper for many years. I mostly now use it for making Origami lights such as in the picture I've added. The kind of paper I need is all Yuzen/Chiyogami/Washi type which is more expensive, effectively ranging between $0.50 - $2.00 per sheet when purchased in 40-80 sheet stacks. These kinds of paper get the most beautiful printed patterns on a slightly thicker and robust paper but is still easy to fold. Also means it doesn't tear easy or get damaged. The paper balloons I fold may sometimes get poked or crunched by the purchaser of my lights so that's important. So even if say, someone were to sit on them, they can be pushed back to their original shape with little to no damage. Quite resilient. The other point is the quality of the ink used. With cheap paper, the colors may shine differently once being lit from within. Cheaper dyes will often be muted in color. But with this paper the dye colors are consistent and maybe even more saturated when lit (which is a good thing). Additionally, these papers are often with a gold or silver tracing on the patterns. Many vendors have this but the tracing will be off and it shows much more when lit. The paper from this seller doesn't have that issue and is traced accurately. So the look, feel, and color rendition is wonderful. Some people may get upset that every other paper is just a solid color, which I can understand. But traditionally Origami paper has always been packaged and sold this way for at least the 40 years I've been using it. I tell people to use these solid colors for practice then fold the nicer paper afterwards.5 stars across the board. That's coming from someone who's very picky about the Origami paper they use! Will definitely buy again.Note: I'm not sure how often the patterns are cycled for bundling. I got 2 packs today and most were the same between both packs. I don't mind this and often prefer it sometimes so I get additional copies of favorite patterns. But if there's a way to ensure getting a different bundle with different patterns I'd like to know. Maybe just have to wait until stock recycles?Anyway, I highly recommend this paper and vendor! If anyone wants to learn how to make these lights feel free to comment.

Very High Quality
This package didn't only include a great mixture of patterns but almost had a fabric-like sturdiness. I was even able to fold an origami lotus with ease without experiencing any tares. I mainly used this to fold lotus and cranes while experiencing COVID-19 and it very much brightened my days!!

Nice product
I wish it came with more yuzen washi instead of one color papers between...

Really gorgeous
I love folding with this paper, it takes folds really well and doesn't tear easily like cheap paper. Fantastic for origami. Love the high quality of this gorgeous paper. I've reordered this several times and been happy with the consistency and quality every time. Great for gifts too. I just really like this paper.

Half design, Half plain colors
I gave this a 3 because the paper is of very good quality and the plain sheets are colored on both sides. I'm not giving a 5 because from the top of the page and the write up, I thought I was getting 40 sheets of assorted {patterned} paper. I did not. The top of the page says "Assorted Design". You have to scroll 2/3 down the page to the comparison graph and there you see "Patterned: 20 sheets, Unpatterned: 20 sheets". I lived in Japan for 6 years and it's where I learned about Origami and Washi paper. You cannot see the plain sheets in the photos. I don't really care as the only saving grace to the plain pages is that they are colored on both sides. I will keep them as I am very low on paper and as I said, they are very good quality. Just be honest at the beginning and tell us we are not getting 40 "Assorted Design"; but are really getting 20 Assorted and 20 double sided colored plain. And a good point would be that the plain pages compliment the patterned pages they are packaged next to. Midori...

Sublime.
This is exactly the fine paper that I purchased in Japan decades ago. The patterns and quality are unsurpassed by any competing brands.

Only 20 Sheets of Washi
20 pieces are beautiful, real washi paper. The other 20 are thin, cheap pieces of paper that function as protective sheets for the washi. They are not good for anything else and are definitely not washi. So, understand that you are really paying twice as much per square of washi. This is false advertising.

Produktbeschreibung falsch

Jedes zweite Blatt unifarben
Viel zu teuer! Es sind statt 40 nur 20 Blätter mit dem hübschen Muster. Jedes zweite Blatt ist unifarben. Enttäuschend..
