Telescoping Twistmirror 6X to 1X Suction Cup Magnifying Travel Mirror, White Base

Already have this mirror and absolutely love it. So great for putting on makeup, removing eyelashes from your eyes, etc. This adheres well to the mirror in the bathroom, and it can be positioned anywhere and just about any angle you need. It's practically indestructible as it has on occasion fallen from the large bathroom mirror into the sink and has never broken. It has a mark on the normal side, but it doesn't distract when using it. It travels well, and when you buy one now, it comes in a well-cushioned travel case. Found out that the maker of these mirrors is closing his business (in Europe), so I decided to buy another one in case something happens to the one I have . . . these mirrors are that good. Recommend buying one while you can. I had a hard time finding an extension mirror with a good magnifying side that would stick to the bathroom mirror or a wall. I have a long bathroom mirror and no wall space to attach a mirror like this.

This is a great mirror for a back view of your hair without having to permanently attach it. I find it’s great to take on travel or move around and use anywhere there is an appropriate surface to mount it to.You can attach it to a mirror or a tile in the shower on a smooth surface.After reading comments about the mirror drooping, I began to realize how to position it most effectively. You need to put the semi-circle on the base arm at about 9 o’clock before you attach it in order to get the most stability and highest position.I usually don’t leave it attached after using because it fell off a few times. It is listed as unbreakable, and I was grateful that it was.Great puchase!!!

Thus is the second of this same mirror I've purchased. It has great suction hold and I keep it on my bathroom mirror. I especially appreciate the magnifying side. Also, it extends out far enough for me to see the back of my hair. I ordered the second one for travel. I had another brand for travel that kept falling onto the counter or into the sink! Scary and frustrating. This mirror stays where you put it on a vanity mirror. I haven't tried it on any other surface.

First impressions of this mirror are that its a quality product. Its packaged well and looks sturdy. On attaching it to the mirror, I could not get it to stay. So I went back and followed the directions exactly and it seemed to lock on and click. However, within 5 minutes it dropped off into the sink with a loud crash. I have a simple magnification mirror with this type of suction that holds perfectly, but the weight and the leverage of this mirror defeat the suction provided on the base. Its too bad, this would have been a brilliant solution for travel.

I say "lemon" because, although everything else works fine, the round mirror never stays in the position I put it in, but instead flops down to the lowest position, due to its own weight. This is no doubt related to the fact that the mirror itself HAS NEVER BEEN PERMANENTLY ATTACHED to the telescoping arm since I first opened the box. In fact, it has slipped OFF the arm a couple times when I was trying to reposition the whole thing, so I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY HOLD THE MIRROR ITSELF WITH ONE HAND to avoid this when putting it up.As it happened, I realized too late that the mirror was loose----the 30 days was up----so I was STUCK!! I've been able to (after several tries) position the mirror such that----in spite of it drooping on the arm----it's in a spot that I can use it. But IT'S DIFFICULT TO GUESS-TIMATE EXACTLY WHERE TO INITIALLY POSITION THE ARM, since I cannot adjust the angle of the mirror or pivot it on the end of the arm, once I have rotated the arm upwards about 45 degrees so that the suction works. It's a good thing it stays up for months at a time because THAT MAKES IT HARD TO POSITON ON MY (4 ft. x 6 ft.) MIRROR-WALL. I use it only for my face, but if I were using it to see the back of my head, the mirror would slip off a lot, since it's not attached to the arm----which means I CAN NEVER POSITION THE MIRROR LOWER THAN THE ARM or it'll SLIDE OFF OF IT.Good points:>Very sharp image in the mirror----perfect for seeing detail>Can be attached to any non-porous, VERY CLEAN surface----(although MY LEMON requires a lot of STARTING OVER in positioning it B4 the mirror's at just the right height, since, if I swivel it, it will NOT stay in place)>Stays up well on mirror-wall----if surface is super clean.>Did NOT crack or break the glass when it came loose and fell to the bathroom counter top several times (suction in the base apparently gave out)>Easy to pack for trips (BUT absolutely take window-cleaner spray---or whatever---because it will fall unpredictably if surface it's on is not ABSOLUTELY CLEAN!!)I'd recommend it to anyone who needs an excellent close-up magnifying mirror----JUST BE SURE TO TEST IT THOROUGHLY B4 THE WARRANTY EXPIRES!! I WISH I WOULD HAVE TESTED IT AS SOON AS I GOT IT, so I could've EXCHANGED IT for one that works!!!

This mirror is well made but the 6x magnification was far too strong for me to get a clear image unless I was 2-3" away from the mirror --- to close to be able to apply make-up.

This is one of the best purchases I have made in the past 5 years! So much so, that I bought a second one to keep in my travel bag, so that I could leave one up at home all the time.It is really truly an unbreakable mirror, as I have found out when it has occasionally fallen down because I didn't have it suctioned securely enough to my bathroom mirror. The noise it made falling down scared me, but to my relief, I found it in tact (no cracks) and just put it back up, more firmly, again.I also LOVE the 6X magnifying side of the mirror, because...WOW...it really allows you to see every little pore on your face! And, as a person who now has to use reading glasses to see things up close...I can use this to put mascara on every separate eyelash flawlessly and with ease!The telescoping arm works great too. It stays at what ever length you put it at. And the swivel apparatus stays secure where ever you set it at as well. Just take care and be gentle with the ball at the base of the swivel joint so that it doesn't ever pop out.In conclusion...I can't recommend this product enough! Get one!...Get two!!!!!

I have ordered two of these mirrors and both of them arrived cracked where the telescoping part attaches to the plastic piece. Such poor manufacturing. Will not bother ordering another.
