I like the design and packaging of these bulbs. Also the price is reasonable compared to others of similar design. I may revise this rating higher (or lower) depending on how long the bulbs last in daily use compared to the stated average life of the bulb.UPDATE: In my original review I wrote that I may change the rating depending on how long these bulbs last. Well, I installed two bulbs for outside lighting in May 2018. They are not on a timer so they often remain on well past sun up, sometimes all day. These two bulbs are still working as of March 2021! Talk about LONG LIFE. On the date I updated this review, I was disappointed to see that they are no longer available at this time. Too bad. Hope they are back in stock soon.

The bulbs are nice and beautiful. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't give us the brightness that we were expecting. We wanted to use the lights in our master bathroom and it's just not working to our satisfaction. It just left our bathroom too dark. We had to go with regular bulbs for our clear glass bathroom fixture, which is not something we wanted to do. My wife really wanted to have the vintage look in our bath. We decided to keep the bulbs instead of returning them, and use them in our outside porch light fixtures.

These bubs arrived on time, and in good condition. I was very pleased with the transaction itself. I did have a problem with the bulb itself, and the description of the product. If I was more familiar with the purchasing of bulbs on line, it might not have been a problem. The bulb description says "clear", and I took that as clear light. The bulb actually had a distinct "Amber" hue which I think is the "antique" meaning of description. I was told I could return them which I am in the process of doing. FYI, The "warm to cool" scale given with the bulbs is important, and the description like White, or antique light.

The bulbs arrived quickly and were packaged well. They are beautiful even when unlit, and they afford more than adequate light without blinding. The shape and color are lovely, they are well made, and I just can not find enough places to use them! (My home was built in 1909, so these bulbs seem right at home.) A family run company, whose product is made in the U.S. It is easy to feel good about every aspect of this purchase. How rare is that?!

I bought these with the amber-tinted glass and found them too dark for the application - three of them in an upstairs hallway. I bought these clear glass bulbs hoping they would be better, but they are not. The look of them in the fixture is quite pretty and unique, but, even with 3 60W bulbs, the hallway is still too dark. Also, the light from these bulbs casts a sort of wavy pattern on the walls, which is NOT a nice look. So the whole effect is one of gloom.Such a shame to call these Edison bulbs - denigrates the great inventor's name.Two stars because they arrived in good condition, and they do light; I'm going to get an LED and use it in one of the three lamps, even though it will look funny, because there is just not enough light.

Great bulbs! Very pretty. I love that they don't have a yellow tint to them. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is they tend to burn out quickly. I put them in my new house and some burned out before we moved in.

Bulbs are great, only complaint is each bulb had a few spots on them that I couldn't get off so they looked dirty but my chandelier has speckled glass so you can't tell. If you have an exposed bulb might want to go w different brand. Overall they work great!

The bulbs are great. I wanted clear and they were, except for maybe two or three of them had that brownish hue. But overall really nice. Worked perfect in my bathroom and they came nicely packaged none of them broke. I'd buy again.
