Loving Nora Roberts
Another great fantasy series. The storyline kept me reading until four am. I enjoyed getting to know the characters in the book and hate to see the series end. The good news is I have another one of her series waiting. Nora Roberts is fast becoming one of my favorite authors.

another great read
Loved the three books: (the sign of Seven books 1-3). Just wished they could have all been put together into one big book! Having to go find the books to complete the saga was a real pain! And then to have to read once again the introduction was not good either,

Enjoyed The Sign Of Seven series (3 books)
Enjoyed the 3 book series " The Sign Of The Seven", though it's story line was too similar to other series by Nora Roberts. The characters were fun, especially Fox, Gage is a bit of a kermagine, from first meeting with Cibel, to the end of the series. Although his background may be part of his reason for being so. I really did not like how Nora Roberts ends the series. It is as though she had a deadline date and quickly wrote out the ending, of everybody lives happily ever after. I have read nearly all of Nora Roberts books, and was pretty disappointed in this series, as it is too much like others shee has written. Thus the 4 stars, rather than 5.

Read this to kill time until the next In Death comes out
I started reading Nora Roberts trilogies while waiting for her next In Death book to be published and now I'm hooked. I started reading The One just as Covid hit. Very scary! I have fallen in love with all of her characters and her 6 main characters in The Sign of the Seven are no exceptions. I read all 3 books in under two days. I couldn't put them down. I highly recommend this series of books.

The Pagan Stone
I really enjoyed the entire trilogy, and while I wholeheartedly admit book one of this series was my favorite, I was looking forward to Gage's story! I wanted to know what the rebel did after he left, and what happened to him. He had such a horrible childhood, and I was hoping he would make peace or at least come to terms with it. I knew that there had to be a confrontation between he and his father as it has been building since the first book. I knew it was coming, and don't know that the outcome could have been handled any differently. A constant that was really appreciated is the friendship between Cal, Fox, and Gage because it is so endearing. They are brothers by choice, and never hid the deep feelings they have for one another. The addition of Layla, Cybil, and Quinn complemented them individually as well as a team. There has been a tremendous buildup to this climaxing end of the trilogy with many creepy moments, and this installment did not disappoint. A few times I felt it bordered on a little too graphic, but it ended up adding to the conclusion.I have seen many reviewers state that this book was a departure from anything believable or logical, but that is precisely what I expect from a work of fiction. I also saw many criticisms that it is not a romance, and that is what NR is expected to write. I do not like every book she has written, but that is not the fault of the author. It is just subject matter I am not interested in. This trilogy was never depicted to be a great romance, but rather a delve into the paranormal with demon elements, and I thought that was done very well. While reviews are always subjective, I don't think it is fair to give a negative review because the author didn't deliver a romance.

Fate Ending
I knew that he would live, because it's a Nora Roberts story, but if I'd not been familiar with her, I don't think I would have been able to put this story down. As it was, I still couldn't. Great job Mrs. Roberts.

Time To Face Off
At last we get to Gage's part of the story. His gift is to see future possibilities and that means the story won't be straightforward.Nora Roberts hangs a little more mystery in this volume than the previous two. Right up to the end you never know whether Gage will survive (I'm not telling you) and she tells the story so expertly that you keep thinking you see hints only to change your mind a couple of chapters later. There is the inevitable pairing as in the previous two volumes, but this time with a much greater possibility of it all ending in tears. Cybil once again brings her knowledge and research skills to bear on what seems to be an insoluble problem. There are some great chiller moments as the demon becomes more powerful and this time not only can he play with human minds, but he is also beginning to take a harder physical form. This proves both good and bad for the intrepid six.The climax does not disappoint in that it is stormy, violent, supernatural and not too drawn out.The trilogy is highly recommended for those who like their horror mixed with a little romance.

decent, but not brilliant
Nora Roberts' The Pagan Stone is the last part in the Sign of Seven trilogy. After having crafted a mystery centered around 6 people and one ancient evil in the first two books, book three promises the conclusion in which this evil must be vanquished. It seems the key to destroying it lies in the personal connection between both the partners in each couple and the couples together. While the set-up for the pairings is somewhat logical, due to the style of writing it feels slightly contrived, as does the final showdown. Ms Roberts writes an entertaining romp, as always, but chooses - as she has been in the habit of doing for awhile now - a manner of writing which feels forced. This is most obvious in the dialogue, which often consists of sentences cut short, the use of incomplete phrases and otherwise unlikely speech. I imagine the idea is to write in a 'conversational style' which is to appear natural, but personally I don't know a lot of people whose conversational speech takes this form.I enjoyed reading the trilogy, but certainly not as much as some of Nora Roberts' earlier work, such as the Three Sisters trilogy or the Key trilogy, which are both more carefully crafted and better written and as such have much more resonance.

outstanding
I adore Nora Roberts books, I've read this series many times and still can feel emotional at each characters evolution, not just in themselves but when they find their mate and join as a group of friends. This series has a strong supernatural link that may put others off, to me the use of the lore and the tone in which it is used makes it feel almost real, as if this could be happening in small town USA now. I've never met a Nora Roberts (or J. D Robb book for that matter) that I didn't love! From the stand alones to the trilogy's from the magical to the straight I love them all!

Thrilling read
This was one heck of a tale, the best I have read so far. The development of the characters was just amazing, each and every one stood out as an individual. It became harder and harder to put these books down.
