This is a very well made light, I have several and this is the best one. I did not test run time and I'm sure weaker lights will have longer run time. This light is pre - focused and has a center beam almost as good as the ones that focus but also has a larger beam, out side the center beam to light up closer by. I did not understand the operation of this light and mistakenly thought it was defective. After you turn it on by pushing the button on the rear of the reflector, you lightly tap the top of the reflector to turn on and select three levels of brightness. This can be done with gloves on. The reflector seems to be heavy duty and the head strap is very heavy duty and comfortable. Batteries are not included but a charger that charges the batteries without removing then from the light is. I can't begin to tell you how good their customer service is, great people! I highly recommend this light if you need a bright head light.

This is fairly heavy on my hard hat; much heavier than my old one without the battery pack. The battery life is much shorter than I had hoped. I use it much of the day on/off all the time and by the end of the day is it not very bright....just keeps dimming. And if not charged overnight very dim the next day. Right after charging it is nice and bright. It was not really my first choice in LED headlamps but at least they ship to Hawaii unlike many of the others, for some unknown reason.

It's bright. Charge doesn't seem to last very long; maybe 4-5 hours. Not a big fan of the narrow beam though. But it does have its place, it would be nice if it was user adjustable. I would not buy this again.11/12/16They refunded my money. I still would not buy this again. For $5 more, I still like my Dewalt more.

The only drawback for us is a personal preference = We'd have preferred a top mounted button - the side-button switch is a bit cluggy for us to use. Overall very much a bargain at the price offered when we bought it. Would recommend to anyone.

This light has several things going for it and a couple of weak points. The 18650 batteries are great for lamps. This light is nice and bright. The switching is bad, when you move the lamp you will hit the touch switch that changes the light level. They could fix this with a slide switch or something comparable. The head band doesn't fit the lineman brimmed hard hat worth a darn.

There were no instructions concerning touch switch feature, but figured it out myself. Battery case flimsy and does not hold batteries significantly tight. Also used 2 times and batteries no longer will recharge. Now I have to spend $20 on new batteries which cost as much as the entire light. Life itself is bright and works fine. Need better batteries and improvements on battery case.

WOW !! was my thoughts when I first turn this on I was very impressed with the brightness this headset ,keeps up with my $200 Surefire light.I used this for night fishing it works very well enough where others are asking where I got it from! For the price this can't be beat!Will be purchasing more of this !Aloha

I got to use the miner's lamp for the first time last week and, boy, did it ever work well. I didn't have to hold a flashlight in one hand while trying to complete my project. A little cumbersome due to the battery pack; but a very hand tool to have around.
