Works with a 1950’s Leroy Lettering scribe!
Having rediscovered the ancient art of using a K&E Leroy Lettering kit, I searched high & low for a modern mechanical pencil with a 3mm nib that would fit in my K&E scribe. These mechanical pencils fit nicely in both the K&E scribes as well as the Unitech scribes.I am a happy camper.I am tempted to but the Rotring 600 ballpoint pen to use in my same Leroy Lettering kit but they’re a bit pricey for me; especially given the fact that standard ink pen refills from Zebra and Pilot G2 fit the scribe very nicely. Maybe I’ll ask Santa for a Rotring 600 for Christmas!

Nice pencil - solid and works well.
Can't complain. Good 2mm pencil at a decent price. The lead hardness indicator moves very easily, so keeping them straight if you had several with different leads would be dodgy but a piece of colored tape or similar marking would keep them sorted. Would expect this to last a very long time without problems. My last one gave out on me after roughly 30 years... It wasn't a Rotring, but they are essentially made the same way. It's prettier than my last one.... FWIW..

Very reliable drafting and drawing instrument.
I have a few 2mm lead holders, Faber-Castell, Staedtler and Rotring.I use them for drawing and I had them around since childhood always preferred them to regular pencils. It was a luxury to have one, in those days. They all have a sharpener incorporated and the clutch mechanism never fails.
