Perfect replacement on my 2005 Quest
This unit was a perfect replacement for a faulty buzzer on our 2005 Nissan Quest. The original buzzer died about a decade ago. I have been addressing other issues with the van, so I decided to look into this one, as well, especially since I had to replace a defective lcd as well. This replacement was perfect. I did not need to use the mounting bracket - I simply opened the original to take out the original buzzer and put in the new one. The harness connected perfectly, and the buzzer was operational.

Easy!
Easy to install, just use the provided tool to pop-up the cover behind the weel, use a 5.5 mm socket to remove the screws holding the old buzzer, unplug it (use a small screwdriver to open the tabs), plug the new buzzer and reverse the procedure. Done!. It's as loud as the old one, hope it holds up and lasts. Check YouTube videos for a quick guide.

Quite involved process for 2013 Nissan Frontier but worked fine
Backup alarm quit sounding but camera and sensors were okay. You know you have a problem when the light stays on all the time on the switch which usually is used to turn off alarm when tailgate is down. Lots of reviews said quick easy install but many didn't say what model Nissan. As you can see from pics (2013 Frontier SV) I had to remove 3 sections of the dash due to hidden screws or overlapping pieces of dash. Not for the faint of heart, but doable if you have time and some mechanical ability. Dealer wanted over $200, of which OEM part is $99 in my area (western PA). Buzzer is behind instrument cluster. Some Nissans apparently have a top plate over speedometer area that pops off and gives immediate access. Anyway, it is installed and to me sounds exactly like the old one. Came with a trim removal tool that you don't really need but might.

IT'S ALIVE
A simple little piezo buzzer, but it's just what the doctor ordered for my backup alarm on my trusty, rusty Nissan Titan truck. Following the instructions from youtube, I was able to quickly diagnose the root of my malady and then easily replace the original buzzer with this unit. Once again my backup alarm is working like new. For how long? Well, I guess we'll see. But it sounds good and works perfectly now.
