Extracting the Precious from Isaiah: A Bible Study for Women

This study makes pulling out relevant info from Isaiah easy. Our study group used it & found it easy to understand & the questions relevant.

With Isaiah having a large number of chapters, it is challenging to tackle it in a group setting. We chose this study because the author selected 12 chapters of Isaiah to focus on. The chapters are picked from the various sections of Isaiah represent the whole of Isaiah quite well. We liked the questions being grouped under each paragraph of the chapter--that made them easy to follow. The quotes & her short commentary added interest & a contemporary application. Without some supplemental explanation of word pictures, culture, etc from the time of Isaiah, some of the chapters would have been hard to understand for a person not experienced in Bible study. Would recommend this for a fairly mature Bible study group or one with a leader who do some chapter hints for the study.

Awaiting a second book so my cousin and I can do the study together. I've looked through and it seems very interesting, can't wait. Quality and condition of the book was great.

I was disappointed in this book because I had to erase writing throughout the book. This book was in Fair condition not excellent as advertised, so for the cost I did not receive good value for my money.The packaging was good and arrived within a week.

This is a very good bible study.

A great BIBLE study

I loved this book. I loved it so much that after reading it, I had to pass it on to other sisters in my bibletalk group.

This study only covers a few chapters of Isaiah and doesn't go in depth on those. It was a bit disappointing.
