Bought these just for the pods and mounted JBL tweeters in them in my car. But I was shocked to find the tweeters that come with these are legitimate and have great build quality and sound. In-line capacitor is fairly large as well. I hope these come back in stock because I want more. Tweeters are metal pods are plastic.

I will start by saying for the price you can't really go wrong. I listened to these for no more than an hour or so incorporated into my home stereo being powered by an AO7 Max amp with my mids being powered by another AO7 Max and the base taken care of by an AO8 Pro and was actually extremely impressed by these but then I reattached my ribbon tweeters which cost about 9 or 10 times these and remembered why I like the ribbons so much. If you are looking to just fill in some highs in your system they are well worth the cost. I am by no means an audiophile but I experiment a lot with mostly cheap China amps as of late and a wide variety of speakers.

They look nice. They have wires. I have no idea how to install or use since there are no directions. I contacted Amazon who apologized and suggested I contact the manufacturer. Nope. Not for $20.00 item that I got for free. Not going to the extra work to figure this out, it requires far more work that I hoped, so this item is a no go for me. It appears to require the tearing apart of dashboards, A-column/pillars and wiring are needed for this which I am not going to do. I was hoping for a nice easy add on o boost volume.

Works just fine with my Tannoys in place of a broken tweeter without having to open up the cabinets. Listening to John Lee, the blues meister is exactly in the centre above his guitar, the snare-rattle is exactly with the snare drum, the hi hat just to one side of it and the crash and ride cymbals in the right places for me to close my eyes and be sat just off stage either behind a right handed drummer or in front of a left handed drummer. Perfect for less than twenty quid! Just as an update on the external tweeters after a few hours. Listening to Sting and Edin Karamazov's Songs from the Labyrinth, as a very demanding recording with vocals, lute, and archlute, everything is perfectly placed and timed with both space and complexity. I know music listening is subjective, but this set-up really rewards a detailed attention in a way I hadn't expected.

I like the size of it but it’s not really good quality.I only used it for not even a week and it burnt out .not recommended to install in a motorcycle ext.speaker
