Must have for Indian cooking. Quite heavy compared to my similar size kadai which are not India made.Even the glass cover is heavy compared to other wok. I like it has shiny outside and heavy bottom base.

Hawkins is a well known Indian brand and this one is no exception. Sturdy and well built. The vendor who shipped this item was very prompt and I got this in a couple of days. Packaging was good and there was no damage. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Flimsy top handle
The top handle broke off while I was washing the top. This is worrisome because it could have happened while cooking over the hot pot. Unfortunately I used it already so I can’t return for a refund to buy another one. I suggest if you buy this product that you check the top handle well enough before using and throwing away the box, Incase you need to return item. Otherwise, the pot itself works fine.
